Bomber Thompson has jumped to the defence of his team / players at every opportunity. He has tolerated no criticism of his precious team. Did they think they were untouchable? Has Bomber's approach come back to bite them on the bum?

No he fact they havnt got much of a forward set up has . Given time i think Playfair will be good. Kingsley is ok but cant carry the load by himself. Ottens , over rated big time and not fit. They simply dont have any tall forwards that would scare anyone at the moment.

Different coaches do different things. If I was a player I'd much rather the coach come to my defence then to sit on the sidelines and do nothing.

Yeah, I am just saying if he doesn't perform over a period of time I am sure the club will give him the arse rather than sit there and say leave him alone.

It is pretty childish to tell the press to leave someone alone. Press give everyone a hard time. Did Grant tell the media to leave him alone? They are off his back now because the team is performing.

If you are Ottens or whomever if you want to get the press off your back you pull your finger out and perform, that shuts the press up.

Just answer the questions and put the pressure back on the players to perform, if you can't handle media pressure then you have no hope come finals.

No he just pointed the finger at "training services" because their "processes" weren't adhering to the structure that Grant had put in place.

I was never off the bandwagon Jubby, why would I be? Unlike some cat supporters prone to making outrageous statements about how the cats will smash this team and roll that team.
I made a simple analogy based on my observation of the way Thompson mollycoddles his players and the way they have been playing recently. If you don't like it then tough ****!
