The disallowed Starc catch seems harsh but in the act of catching the ball it 'must not touch the ground'.

Irrespective Australia, who have dominated this test, should take the remaining 6 wickets with Engalnd's only hope of saving the test (forget winning) being inclement weather....

Agree in principle it was a 'harsh' decision and while you're entitled to your 'shocking' call, there have been many other claimed catches ruled not out when/if umpires determine the player did not fairly complete the catch and/or the ball was grounded.

Throwing the ball in the air upon (or not) having completed a catch is a tricky one. Herschelle Gibbs's 1999 WC drop of Steve Waugh is probably the most famous uncontrolled catch (attempting to throw the ball in the air) in history and he wasn't even 'unbalanced'....
