There was a pic of her in her formal dress, cleavage so didn't want another strike, maybe she was 16/17 it was a guess lol. I'm not the one on trial here.:p

Is that you Tom.....I mean Angelo?

Yeah I've actually met him through a mutual friend, was a good bloke as far as I'm concerned. Feel a bit for him tbh, Media can be absolute campaigners some times. Standing behind his car in his driveway so that he can't leave is pretty wrong imo. He's not the one who got caught with 2 million dollars worth of "headphones" I wonder if he'll stand by her if it's 10+ though?

That's not news and nor does it pass a public interest test. This should be a criminal offence.

But it’s now been confirmed that police were on the alert much earlier, with a tip-off about Ms Sainsbury received on April 5, a couple of days after she arrived in Colombia and a week before she tried to depart the country on April 12.

Jorge Mendoza, the ports and airports director for Colombia’s anti-narcotic police told Colombian journalist Carlos Colina the tip-off included Ms Sainsbury’s name, nationality and photo.

He said authorities searched through airline ticket records but could not find travel booked under Ms Sainsbury’s name and so were a bit confused about it. But at the very last moment, they were alerted to a ticket purchased for someone of that name, which led them to intercept Ms Sainsbury at the airport.

Todays paper has now deleted messages suggesting this was a 'life changing trip'' 'Bondi-living' etc etc. I wonder if the bf was included in this life-changing event

Edit: Added link

Now-deleted posts on Ms Sainsbury’s Instagram account showed she travelled on “all expenses paid work trips” around the world, and just days before she was picked up in Bogota, she posted on social media in the United States following recent updates on her travels to China, Canada and Vanuatu.

A series of cryptic Instagram posts in the lead-up to her ill-fated trip show Ms Sainsbury apparently counting down the days until a life-changing event. A January 10 post read: “50 days until I make the biggest move I’ve yet to do ... 50 days until everything changes.”

She added the following hashtags: #newbeginnings #newyearnewme #2k17 #dreamjob #bondiliving #life #change #love #50daysleft #goodthingsarecoming.

On January 24, another post read: “Moving interstate driving me cray cray! #save me! Not long before the big move now, super excited and can’t wait to leave so much baggage behind.”

Ms Sainsbury has claimed she thought the packets contained headphones that had been purchased cheaply in bulk.

Ms Hernandez Sierra said Ms Sainsbury had not acted like a normal tourist after arriving without a booking.

“I talked with her many times because when I saw her I asked if she was OK,” Ms Hernandez Sierra said.

“I offered to arrange for her to see sights but she told me always she was not interested in that information..

“When she checked in I asked how many days she would stay and she answer me I’m not sure I think three days.

“I said okay but each day she informed reception I stay one day, I stay two days more.

“For foreign tourists it is unusual because normal tourists have a plan. For example when people arrive here they usually book three days with a flight booked for a time to go to the airport..
Part of the fun of backpacking is not prebooking too much. I don't think that's overly suspicious. If you like it, stay. If you don't, move on etc. Not wanting to see sights is weird however

The hotel she was staying in didn't exactly look like a backpacker's hostel

You can backpack like a king in South America just about without having to spend an arm and a leg. Hostels were like $5 a night, private hostel room $10 and cheap but basic hotel was like $20. So plenty of time to enjoy a slightly higher standard of backpacking in the cities. Of course if you're away a year or something you might not hotel it so much, but compared to our prices, you can live pretty well inexpensively.

****ing christ there's some low rent comments in here. 'Oi **** oi tuckshop arms oi I know what sex is oi she's a woman hur hur hur'.

Anyway she's almost certainly guilty so decent media (ABC and SBS) giving it daily coverage has gotten annoying fast.

Just look at the lack of coverage regarding women killing kids

What? The Cairns woman has been in the news all week.

You'd be fun at parties.

Just saw the CCTV of her leaving the hotel, so why cant they find Angelo?

Wondered that myself, guess it depends on how long they keep footage ? Hers is from day she checked out, 12th April ? Maybe Angelo / Tom favours that hotel for mules for a reason.

Yah, but she wasn't back packing, she was on a "working holiday"...without a work visa.
