I'd like to see Genreau get back in the fold. He was performing regularly for Toulouse in Ligue 1. Copped a severe injury in January this year and when he returned there was someone else in his place going into the end of the season. Likewise this season where he hasn't featured regularly for Toulous.

Is a quality midfielder though, hopefully he can turn it around.

It's great to hear... But the people who are reporting this are they usually on the money? Or they another News Source trying to pump a Aussie thats really not as good as there saying...
I hope it is true thou

Dunno but I have seen a couple of people that do seem to know back up what the journo said.

This is great to hear. He should be in the next Socceroos squad you would think.

"Australian Kanté"
"One of the best midfielders in the league"
"NAC will ask a record fee"
🇦🇺👏

Since his move to the Netherlands, Australian midfielder Max Balard has impressed for his NAC Breda side in the Eredivisie and has earned the praises of many fans and pundits. He has started and played EVERY minute for the club in the Dutch top tier 🇳🇱

Dutch football reporter Joost Blaauwhof (from Voetbal International) described Balard as one of the best players for Breda this campaign: 👇

"Max has been terrific for NAC," Blaauwhof said.

"He came in as an unknown signing, but from day one he has been a perfect match with the team and manager. He can play in different roles, but always plays as a great pivot.

"He reads the game, a quick scanner on and off the ball. His feeling for pressing is incredible, lots of interceptions. He's probably going to be in a Top 5 league next season. Some clubs are monitoring his availability, but NAC will ask for a record fee (4/5 mln€). It's crazy that he’s still waiting for a call up for the Socceroos, because he is one of the best midfielders in the Eredivisie.

"Everyone at NAC is enjoying him. He's a very clever guy who’s working hard. Australian Kanté is his nickname. He’s a key player for NAC and one of the main reasons for the sensational start of the season."

Thats a good write up...

Joshua Nisbet scores his first goal for Ross County in SPFL. County defeated Motherwell 2-1.

The goal is about 1:45 into the video, it's a very nice shot from just outside the box.

How has he been playing in the SPFL?
I think he has done okay, he started late (didn't sign until mid-August) and didn't make his debut until the Aberdeen game on August 31 but has only missed a couple of game since.

He appears to have fitted into the team very well and after a lot of other personnel changes during the offseason, we have been a lot more competitive since a 6-0 loss to Rangers the week before that Aberdeen game.

Overall, I think the Manager, Don Cowie is happy with his start and feels there is still improvement to come.

This is a recent article from the local newspaper The Press & Journal.
