O rly?

Cmon now that is not a feature match.
As much as Stosur is "boring", showing her would be a load more appealing than a shit show served up by two players at the very bottom of the WTA barrel. Even if one of them is Aussie.
Should've switched them.

3 quarters of the matches in the WTA fall into bottom of the barrell category, particularly before the first weekend.

Man far out Pete, you choked bad there. You've got to take your chances against this dude.

Anyone watch the Tomic match? I've watched him play a few times now and thought his forehand was a bit 'pushy' but seriously that was biggest load of crap I've ever seen. Sure it was windy etc/tough conditions but he was just pushing every forehand back. Has a very weird forehand technique, will never do anything good if he serves that shyt up. Hit the ball Bernard. Can't believe he is up as well, the guy he is playing is playing such a dumb game.

Rufin has made 42 unforced errors to Tomic's 19. Bernard's just keeping it in play figuring that he'll just keep making errors.

Yep I know that but seriously, if Bernard wants to be a top 10 player he can't play like he did today. He will get found out verrrry easily- he was hitting softer than Pennant players I see every week. At this stage I'd rather he worry about his development as a player rather than results. At the moment he needs to work on his forehand big time as he struggles to keep it in the court because he hits so flat. No spin at all (which is why he was pushing his forehand in today).

I know baging Tomic is a sport right now but come on!

He was playing to the conditions and his opponent. Very smart tennis.

rofl at thinking that was Tomic trying his hardest. You think he'll be hitting the same shots against all opponents do you?

Nieminen serving to stay in the 2nd set. Looking at the numbers the only difference is that the Finn has taken his break point opportunities, Lindahl has not. Wonder how much light there is for the matches on SC2 and SC3 to continue tonight?
