Well most of us know there has been a lack of planning when it comes to our energy transition, particularly the decade of Coalition rule & likes of Angus Taylor having no energy policy... when we needed direction for investment.

You won't get an answer out of Bicks.

Most of the world support a 2 state solution apart from Israel, USA & handful of other countries.

Bicks like Dutton believes supporting 2 states - 1 of which is Israel - is anti-Jewish. How dare Australia support both sides & not take a side.

The only chance of peace is a 2 state solution... but unfortunately some would prefer the complete obliteration of Palestinians...
Rubbish.

There will never be a 2 state solution while Palestinians allow terrorist groups to operate in there boundaries, not to mention almost all Arab states don't want anything but the Israelites gone altogether. While Iran and the Ayatollahs exist that will never happen, you're dreaming again.

And whilst Israel obliterates the Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank areas - it takes two to tango.

I don't disagree but anyone that thinks there will ever be a long lasting 2 state solution are kidding themselves...the hatred runs far to deep for that to ever happen.

So what is your solution then?

Surely you are not happy with an ongoing war?

Don't you get it there will never be long term sustainable peace in the middle east, the hatred runs way way too deep on all sides.

So just give up.

Bit like your view on dealing with climate change...

Doing nothing is not a solution!

Far smarter people than you or I including the World's best diplomats have been trying for decades, it will never happen for the reasons I've already highlighted. Centuries of history dictate it will never happen.

Giving up is a shit attitude imo, no difficult the situation is.

You're reaching. Seriously reaching.

And you’re splitting hairs 🤷🏻‍♂️

In this case, there's no evidence to suggest that they didn't believe in the medicine's effectiveness (at least from my limited reading of the case). They knew it was effective, they just chose not to use it on the basis of their religious beliefs.

Their religious beliefs that God was a more effective treatment for their daughter’s type 1 diabetes than insulin.

Whatever their rationale, they rejected scientific evidence that someone with type 1 diabetes needs insulin to survive. The consequences for this child are the same as for an anti-vaxxer’s kid in a measles outbreak.

I’d argue the only difference between what these parents did vs someone rejecting vaccines or other forms of life saving medical intervention, or taking ivermectin to treat a viral infection or cancer because they believe some alternate “truth” that’s been peddled to them, is whether your choose to recognise the source of those beliefs as an organised religion/cult or not.

Poor comparison. Everyone needs to contribute on CO2 emissions.
However, Mutineer is absolutely right on this one, as we have all discussed at length before.
Neither Mutineer, nor you, can do anything about the local ME problems, so panning Mutineer's view as a do-nothing option on his part is ludicrous.

There will be continuing periods of ME peace, interrupted by wars, ad infinitum. This is a realistic prediction. For "the world" to actually "do something" would require them suppporting a two-state solution by planting UN peacekeepers along all the borders. This is unlikely to happen.

As we have said before, a "two-state" solution requires two states, Israel and Palestine, but no Hamas. Since Palestine is intimately inseparable from Hamas, this can't really happen.

My comparison was on 2 key issues that Bicks has just said we should give up because they are too hard... so the comparison is fair as there is a theme here.

By no means have I said it's easy, but we should never give up trying to fix problems in this world.

There is no reason why can't have a Palestinian state with no Hamas involvement... policed by other countries. Most Palestinians would be happy to live in peace rather than having their livelihood obliterated.

Good troll TopG
Is he wrong with the leftist Uni students though, I know you must have seen soome of that shit happening on the Uni campuses to Jewish students and teachers, you're not blind. The ALP hasn't helped either IMO, you may disagree but that's how a lot of people see it and certainly the jewish people among us who have little to do with the actions in the middle east.

Nobody here thinks what those parents did was okay, if that’s the absurd angle you’re going for.

That’s ironic. But maybe I shouldn’t be surprised the cooker doesn’t recognise the pot he’s in is also simmering.

Thanks, I’ll bookmark this for next time you contribute to the spread of misinformation about whatever life saving medical intervention the MAGA science bros take a stick to next.

"the Labor party doesn't like Jews"

Come on man. This is as intelligent as saying DEI caused a plane crash.

Typical ridiculous answer, won't bother interacting in future
Dude the problem is the Jewish are more to blame for the shitshow in Gaza than anyone. They can't keep claiming victimhood because of ww2. The ALP are remaining balanced. It's got nothing to do with who likes who. However, protestors targeting Australian Jews is dumb and should be dealt with.

More rubbish, Israel's actions are almost always in retaliation to attacks from many and varied terrorist groups and anti Israel states and players. Easy answer stop lobbing rockets and other explosive agents into Israel. How did this latest escalation start on Oct .7 2023?

Who are the quote marks for can’t see him saying that ?

It’s not that the Labor party doesn’t like Jews, they like votes , especially in the seat
held by Bourke with a vast Muslim majority of voters.

The Muslim vote to Jew ratio is 8-1 in Australia .

Labor were weak and silent since the Opera House fiasco.
The majority of Australians see this for what it is and a terrible misjudgment by Albo
just like the Voice the silent majority see through him.

Albo in his University days was also a founding member of the friends of Palestine
where Israeli flags were burnt by demonstrators following one demonstration speech he made.
his view is Bias .

And for balance Sussan Ley was also a member and so like many politicians
goes with the wind and I find hypocritical on this matter.

Your idiotic post was rejected all across the spectrum. But that didn’t stop you doubling down on the embarrassment.

Self-reflection was never a strong point of yours.
