Many had long covid before covax.

But you would expect given the covax program vaccinated the vast majority, most with long covid now would have had covax.

There are long covid health clinics, where hopefully they can discover more answers to help going forward.
No doubt, there was a UK case from March 2020 mentioned in the article.

But for the majority of the cases in the article, which were post-vaccination, you would want to study that additional factor for any pattern. At the very least you would want to know why multiple doses of an effective vaccine didn't prevent Long Covid.

You are calling for censorship on BF because you don't like the topic. You don't have to read the posts or reply.

No because time has passed and it no longer is an issue for probably 99.9% of society. No-one I know speaks of Covid anymore and I’m in a club with all retired individuals (the most likely affected group).

Time to move on, shit happened and you can’t change what happened.

Absolutely we need to know more about long covid as it's still impacting on a significant number of people worldwide.

Hopefully find better cures.

Cool, in that case we also don't need to discuss any previous government in this thread since shut happened and we can't change what they did. :thumbsu:

'how can we learn from the trump campaign?' gone wrong
Should already know the Trump style doesn't work with the majority of Australians... just look at Clive Palmer who is turn off for most.

I reckon it's changing. We'll get there eventually.
No one like Palmer will ever be successful in Australia imo.

Votes more likely to be driven by simple issues like cost of living than simpleton slogans & sledging.

LOL

And it's been almost wall to wall ALP Governments in Queensland since 1989 with 2 brief interludes.

Well I never would have thought this - the peaksmart scheme was introduced by the Newman Government 🤣🤣.

Looks like another own goal, hey!

And individuals signed up to it to get a $400 rebate.

You need to do your homework better.

And why would your lord and master Mali make way for it to be a goer in SA if your renewables on steroids was so wonderful I wonder...All new air conditioners installed have to have it in SA!!

Anyone who uses the “C” word next year should be banned for a month. We are nearly [emoji6] years on from the first outbreak and nearly years since our international borders opened.

Time for those you keep raising it to move on.

Is this stance for both negative and positive opinions?

Or are you asking us to forget it ever happened?

How can you do better in the future if you don’t analyse how you farked it the first time?

We can analyse it as much as we want in here but the reality is we could do it in depth for the next 10 years and still not have any facts. The government needs to do a royal commission, the only reason they dont is because both sides of politics will be found out. So Im with Kirky, no point even discussing it if it wont change anything. We cant get a coach sacked let alone solve the worlds covid problem.

The billionaire renewables investor Simon Holmes A Court in action protecting his and his mates like Mike Cannon-Brookes $$$$'s big time. Disgraceful!!

And how piss weak by the Newcastle branch of Engineers Australia, wonder how much Simon Holmes A Court "donated" to buy them off...

Another highly qualified, highly respected nuclear scientist Robert Parker.

You want to believe an imbecile like Bowen compared with his highly qualified, high respected nuclear scientist Robert Parker also an expert on energy of all types.

In June, Robert Parker, an engineer with forty years’ experience and a Masters degree in Nuclear Science, was due to present his views to the Newcastle Branch of Engineers Australia. However, when the head of the Climate 200 political lobby group and chief backer of the Teals, Simon Holmes a Court, heard about this he demanded it be cancelled. Engineers Australia relented. This is cancel culture writ large.
Since 1943, the Institute of Public Affairs has always stood for freedom of speech, hosting Robert so he could finally deliver his cancelled presentation is in line with this core belief. The IPA has led the debate on the need for energy security in Australia – one thing is for certain; the future of our energy system needs the greatest possible debate.

Ok, gotcha.
So the Governments Covid response is worthy of a Royal Commission but we cant talk about it until that happens?

It actually turns the power down, not necessarily off completely. There is a difference.

If you choose to have electricity guzzling airconditioning when there are much better alternatives for our climate, then their are consequences.

You would be dead and buried before the first nuclear reactor comes on stream if at all.

As I’ve said, even if Mr Potato Head somehow wins majority government (unlikely), the Senate will stop any discussion as Greens and ALP will probably have the numbers (as I’ve previously advised).

So the can gets kicked 3 years down the track.

Yeah like paying heavy electricity manufacturers to knock off because it's too big a drain on SA's grid...great for the economy...NOT.

Unheard of in the past when the then reliable coal powered plants were humming.

The problem is the reliable coal powered plants are no longer reliable. And you can’t turn them on and off, which is why gas is the transition fuel. Got it?

Do you know once Snowy Hydro 2 is up in running in 2028, how many homes it can power for a week from storage?
