Does the music in the US version reveal who is going to win the immunity and other challenges as much as it does in the aussie one?

That's one thing that gets me each time, you can pretty much tell who's going to win when the music goes into overdrive.
The Aussie version does it a lot more, for mine the editing has been the only downfall. Had the show been edited & not advertised so obviously, a lot of the twists, blindsides etc. Would have been more entertaining.

Can anybody private message me the best place to download some of the old series of survivor? Would love to catch up and watch some so i can compare.

Download Kodi (app) and install Exodus.

Real simple, google (Kodi and Exodus)

Hahah. Would be funny to see a season of Bachelor/ette v MasterChef v The Block. They'd each have their own skills to bring to the game.

No skills vs real good rice cooking vs oh shit we can't hire tradies on this but our shelter has 4 different types of wood and is north facing for max value?

Just watched the latest US episode. The reward challenge was one of those brutal man-on-man, anything goes type challenges. The basketball challenge from earlier in this season comes to mind.

I have been meaning to ask The Smaller Warrior - what are the rules of play in these types of challenges? Are you given instructions on what is/isn't permitted? I imagine there must be some line drawn somewhere.

Would not surprise me one bit if they both turned on each other any episode now. It is pretty flimsy superficial alliance at this point. I suspect it will happen a little further down the track but lock it in as happening at some point. For now their throw the toys out of cot rage is more likely to be aimed at Sam.
Meanwhile people like Kylie, Kristie and Matt kept themselves off the immediate radar by floating along a bit. Right now it is pretty dull viewing for me.
Almost hope there is some serious fall out and hissy fits after last night council and chaos reigns supreme.

Sam and Lee need to work out a strategy as they playing just a shit as many others. For Lee to get to tribal council so unsure of what he was doing was pretty poor form. Needs a good hard look in the mirror after that mediocre showing.

Least silly Kristie even has a strategy at this point of simply moving along to what suits her best at the time.

Probably El at this point is in best position of all players. Although not seen her talk a lot on screen.

Just over two weeks later that I said those two girls would turn on each other it happened.

Lee has recovered from sloppy playing earlier and got his advantage firmly held to be used any time now.
El to me still seems the most likely to win. Played best social game so far.
El and Lee will be hard to keep from final two. Lee trusting El's judgement on whether Flick was being genuine has been a game changer of turning a possible weakness of losing El to now got El and his advantage well entrenched.
Kristie unorthodox game in last few weeks sees her ahead of some others.
She has Lee and El trusting her more than the others now and also has the promise from Matt he will never be part of voting her out after she gave up her family letter reward to Matt weeks ago.

Flick and Matt look dead men/women walking to me as far as final two.
Sam is rank outsider too. All those three need to really find an idol or some twist in next couple of episodes to have any hope.

Last episode been the first real entertaining one for two or three weeks.
Flick kept us entertained but killed off her own chances at same time getting seduced of big ego thinking it was a big move but not thinking it through how it effects her long term.

Yeah, sometimes by the way the host talks about "any way you can" and "anything goes" and things of that nature, I'm left thinking "So, could you punch them in the face? Hold them under the water? Pull their shorts down?"

That's the sort of challenge where I'd be asking questions beforehand trying to find out exactly what was allowed and what wasn't.

In fact I'd probably ask a lot of questions before most challenges.

Careful mentioning anything from the current US season, people might get upset.

Blockhead: We need the shelter built by 6pm but the bloody branches aren't going to be here until 5pm!
Foreman Jonathan: You can't leave it like that. It's unsafe.
Blockhead: Well what are we meant to do? It's not our fault!
Masterchef: I did a crockenbush.
