Carey's issue is when he is asked to go at more than a run a ball. Modern ODI matches typically require 7 an over which is where he struggles.

Excellent score considering what was happening at the start. A lot of decent partnerships. Other than Labuschagne they weren't able to get multiple which meant they weren't quite and to really ramp up the pressure

He has looked good and he bats well with the hitters and the lower order...nice to see him do well in england especially after he copped it unfairly in the ashes

I can see both him and Inglis play in the same team...as Inglis can bat anywhere...Inglis open instead of short with head ...happy with that

and I still don't think we can have marnus and smudge both in the same side ...
