I'm rarely the pessimistic type, but I'll just say now, I hope this stings them. We all have to sit on this for six months, the disparity between talent and attitude was clear today.

I dare say, a big focus of this team's pre season has to be as much about team cohesion and attitude, as it is skills.

MEh, carlton tanked last night by not puching the ball through the posts in the dying seconds, they didn't want to win, so we went one better. So i prefer to see it as we screwed cartank rather then lost to GWS hahahaha.

Not in the least fussed by tht game. and those saying it was bad to send GIa off... Gia is on the coaching anel next year, and given the misses he did... he was perfectly in on it too.

I have been a Bulldogs member for 37 years and I don't believe I have ever felt so disheartened at the end of a non-Finals season in all of that time as I feel this morning.

There will be one less Western Bulldogs member in this household in 2015. My cat, Lily, has had enough. At the sound of the final siren, she grabbed her Western Bulldogs Pet Membership card in her mouth, sprinted to the microwave and nuked it.

We dropped to the very bottom of the AFL food chain today - by dropping to GWS levels of brain fades around the ball and off it. Scrapping with 18 year olds, choking kicks, dropping easy marks ect ect. Pathetic display in the final game of a nothing season. Thank god for the improved draft pick. Our early draft picks are all we have to hang our hat on these days.

I am pretty excited about the off season plenty of my mates who are supporters of other clubs keep telling me we have the best young midfield list in the game (outside the expansion clubs). I don't understand how you can't see that..

I would have loved to see Gia kick the game winning goal - would have been a great memory to finish the season and say good bye to a champ. But later, when the pre-season starts it'd just be wallpaper to win that game.

Disappointing end to a disappointing season. First half was horrid and embarrassing to watch. Guys need to put in a big pre season and improve foot skills and their decision making. Some ugly turnovers today... Chin up stringer, kept us in the game

I'm not happy about the bloody draft pick. I couldn't care less.
That was a diabolical result as far as I'm concerned.
Last game for Gia, a guy who played on because the club asked him to, and that is how we say thanks? Terrible. Admittedly, Gia self-sabotaged as much as anyone, but you just don't lose those games. To GWS.
That first half was nothing short of embarrassing.

I feel for Stringer; he had a pretty good game and just ****ed it up at the end.

I think what I've said is reasonable. We lost to GWS mate, in victoria, with close to no injuries compared to GWS.

I hardly called for the club to fold. I'm not even close to the most negative person on the first 3 pages of this thread.

I'm looking forward to another pre-season under the belts of some exciting young players on our list too.

God it's disappointing watching Austin play AFL when we have Talia in the VFL. What harm would it of done to bring him in for the last game, couldn't of possibly done any worse then Austin.

Young was shocking as well, he should be turfed out as soon as
possible. Though at least some young defenders were alright, thought JJ played a good game and showed good signs. Also thought Roberts did ok.

Overall extremely upset with that loss, and boy do we need a big powerful tall forward who can actually take a pack mark. Time to get aggressive in the offseason.

My thoughts are we are not a power forward away from being better side but a big good defender away from improving. will say one thing Dahlhaus disappoints me in his disposal and kicking for goal. Austin is the biggest dud to have ever graced our jumper and that's saying a lot. and for the first time i am questioning the coaches game day methods and selections, i mean Austin falls over his own feet and he gets picked to play A.F.L. I think even though it wont happen Boyd should retire with Gia, and Picken Mcturn over should be traded. Campbell is not the answer to our forward line and Jones should have been in the side for the last game.
