Most excruciating final quarter I've ever seen... take the win and move! Go North!!!

Sleevo was absolutely clutch in the second half. Onya!
happy my whipping boy stood up and iam man enough to admit it, cant think nostra will swollow his pride and give scot kudos though, finished with a clutch goal and then a saving mark at full back 30 seconds later after running for 4 quarters, great tank on him.

Simpkin is a liability in the middle.

And if I read one more post that he had a good game against WC I'll farkn spew.
Yep.

He’s in there because he can help with set ups.

His actual footballing is putrid.

So we won .. yay!! Always good. And yes put fiddy on us after the woeful first 20 minutes as I figured if we can just stand on our feet we'll win.

27 scoring shots to 20. Beaten in the clearances, on most metrics we should have lost.

And our opponent is 18th, we have improved but you'd be crackers to use today as an example of said improvement.

And yeah, Pink, Ford, Phillips, Stephenson need to be get gone, yes you can be up in arms and yes of course you could show me individual moments where the 'joke' looks like it's on me.
But at days end I'm 100% correct, just like my bet.

Ones useless at this level, ones too slow for this level, one has NFI and the other isn't committed enough.

I like us all want improvement and we know we are on our way when those four aren't in the side

Utterly dreadful game of football - skills from both sides were deplorable, we frequently failed to defend their ball movement through the middle well at all, and far too many of our players lacked basic decision-making and game awareness at critical moments - not many you would say had substantively great games today even if their stats look okay. But when you're as starved of victories as we have been, it's hard to lean into the criticism too much - nice to hold on and seal the win, Stephenson with some really great second-half efforts was good to see, and hopefully securing a win gives us another confidence boost to go forward with and win again (and better!) next week and beyond.

Just be happy. I am.

I’ll have to watch the replay to enjoy that even more now I know the result. Also have to check out a Sheezel clearance that I can’t believe what I thought I saw.

Good practice at icing a close one. Yes Richmond are a rabble but it’s much better to win those games than not. Stevo immense in the last quarter, and Curtis and Zurhaar influential. And props to the defence - a lot of richmond’s inaccuracy was pressure and rushed behinds.

And there were parts of that game that were so much fun.

He been playing like this for sometime, look back at his 2023 games he was doing these kind of Lazy football acts.
True but our team was a complete shambles and I tried to trick myself and put it down to opposition pressure acts.

We are starting to create time and space in 2024 and some of Jy's unpressured disposals are violently sickening.
