Haven't come across anything amazing in months....
Have gone b-grade again, hoping to get some fragments of brilliance.
Not sure EAT was a good way to get started.....................

^^^^^^
Loudest, stupidest, dumbest, pointless, 3D, 2 hours of all time thing I ever seen.
Greatest Movie Ever!!!!
Just watched a doco called 'the staircase'. Pretty lengthy (10x 45min episodes) but they're all on YouTube and overall I thought it was a really good watch for those of you who like their courtroom dramas. Would have liked if the doco was a little more neutral in its approach (ie show both sides of the case) however I still really enjoyed it.
Rating: 8/10
Interested about the West of Memphis one. This is currently airing on Foxtel on the CI channel... The final part air's tonight.. I've cheated and read Wikipedia to see what happens.. Agree, would have been good to get a little more insight to the prosecutions side of things.. Still I was shocked at the verdict.. Reminded me very much of another crime show I watch on CI, Criminal Justice, where it hinges on circumstantial evidence...
As a result of the Staircase, I've gone and downloaded some Crime documentary's (below).. If they are any good, I'll shout out..

The Imposter is the best and most disturbing documentary I have ever seen, HIGHLY recommend if you haven't already seen it.
You can't have this list without Dear Zachary included..
Watched the Cobain doco last night also.
A bit hit and miss but the hits were pretty good 6/10

Have you seen any of the other West Memphis 3 doco's? If so, does it bring much new stuff to the story? Particularly interested in this one, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Paradise Lost are fantastic. Be prepared for a marathon as each part is over 2 hours from memory, but it's one of the most fascinating doco's i've seen.I didn't know they existed until you just drew my attention to them!?! Thanks for the heads up.
I'll download all 3 parts of Paradise Lost tonight and give them a watch.. Disturbing case on so many fronts.

It's one that won't leave you for a long time that's for sure.Begotten was a hard view even for it's short 70 minutes.
Can't say what I took out of it but it may yet come to me...........then again maybe not. It's a challenge.
It does what it does very well. The use of the no sound is among the best i've seen. The imagery is confronting, yet well thought out. That said, it just doesn't seem to click, and goes for at least twice as long as it needed to. I'm glad i've seen it, but it's pretty bleak and not one i'll be rushing to see again. That said also, i still rate it fairly highly.I'm just not sure whether it's a good thing or not though.
Don't mind my heavy-metal, surreal horrors but this one may just go too hard
