I ripped off a speech from the movie 'network' in another thread.

Has inspired me to watch it again.

Highly recommended to those who haven't seen it.

Film from the 70s, basically foretelling the emergence of trashy reality TV and networks discarding morality in the chase of money. Peter finch puts in an amazing performance. Some extremely memorable lines / scenes.

Kinda slow and heavy, but absolutely brilliant.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E
If you want light entertainment in the form of a funny action spy movie, this is perfect.
Would definitely recommend 7.5/10

Ex Machina

Up there with Inherent Vice for my film of the year. Sci-fi psychological thriller. 8/10

Alicia Vikander is in both of them. She's going to be huge.

Sicario
Top class action thriller about an FBI hostage rescue agent seconded into a special task force to go after a Mexican cartel.
There is a brilliant sequence where a team of Marshalls, Delta, FBI and 'advisors' convoy into Juarez to extradite a drug boss. That level of tension is rare in cinema.
8/10

Went and saw The Dressmaker last night and thought it ok. Kate Winslet was awesome as was Hugo Weaving who played a cross dressing cop. Love Hugo when he is hamming it up.
Did u go to a cinema to see it JR40 ? I cant remember the last time I went to see a film.
