That will be a measure of his ability as a manager and leader - I have no doubts he will do well.Woosha won’t do that, he will respect the coach and not do anything to undermine anyone imo. It all would have been laid out before they even considered bringing him in.
Absolutely. He's a pro.Woosha won’t do that, he will respect the coach and not do anything to undermine anyone imo. It all would have been laid out before they even considered bringing him in.
May I intrude
As a Crows fan, we were very grateful for the role that Worsfold played at the club supporting our coaches after the passing of Phil Walsh, and Pyke did an excellent job as coach until the wheels fell off.
Both excellent gets for your club imho. All the best for next year, very keen to see the Eagles rise up the ladder again
As a close non-West Coast mate of mine said, is this not a bit undermining for Andrew McQualter? Casts somewhat of a large shadow over him if the old champion coach is there looming over him does it not?
Or hopefully it's more a "here's everything I know kinda mentorship, go knock em dead approach".
To be fair to Suma, he would be good in this role, I think. Did well with the WA 18s when he coached themDidn’t Sumich pull out of the South Freo coaching job a few weeks ago?
Maybe he is in the mix for the Head of Development role…
I'd rather have Suma in the coaches box with McQualter than Gepp and Webster. To be fair to Suma, he would be good in this role, I think. Did well with the WA 18s when he coached them
Surprizingly, at the end of season B+F night, a lot of players paid homage to Webster and the influence/impact that he had on their year's work. It seems he is respected in his role.I'd rather have Suma in the coaches box with McQualter than Gepp and Webster.
He coached the backline, he never played in the backline I cant see that he had mutch influence on Gov ,Barass , Cole and Hough. He probably coached the spuds in the team, Rotham and WitherdenSurprizingly, at the end of season B+F night, a lot of players paid homage to Webster and the influence/impact that he had on their year's work. New West Coast football boss John Worsfold concedes Eagles may have taken too long to start rebuild

Give 'em a break mate. They've only been waiting 17 years to dust them off.Fascinating appearances all over SM by a dedicated band of time travellers who have been drawn to the news of Woosha’s return to the club.
Most appear to be overweight middle aged men called ‘Shane’ or ‘Brad’ but they do have their jokes from 2007 completely intact including references to John Worsfold being a ‘chemist’ (which is what simple folk call a ‘pharmacist’), along with suggestions that he will supply drugs to the players so they are ‘flying high’.
Schoey was smiling and shaking hands in the Woosha vid that came out yesterday - if he was furious and out the door, not sure he's be in that?
When Vozzo left was the job advertised or was it just given to Bell ?Bell is football manager
This role sits above that - basically Pyke’s right hand man overlooking the entire football department
It’s probably an acknowledgment that Bell is still relatively inexperienced after being put in the role when Vozzo left.
I think Bell is fine but this puts more experience into our football department and will assist McQualter to settle in as he finds his feet
We were chasing Danny Daly from Brisbane for this role but Worsfold is an equally good appointment. Arguably better due to his connection to the club and the instant gravitas he brings
He’s done a lot since leaving the club as coach in 2013 including helping to right the ship somewhat at two clubs in difficult circumstances- Adelaide as a football director following the murder of Phil Walsh and Essendon after the drugs fiasco
