The only bad form from yesterday's match was Richmond's pretty lame thuggery tactics.

If Jade Rawlings thinks that's going to get him a job, then he obviously can't coach.

Richmond were like a schoolyard team that just wanted to punch on. What an ill-disciplined bunch of .....

Well guess what? That's why you're dwelling near the bottom again, and we're not.

We waited. And waited. And your rabble couldn't get its act together so we walked off before the lactic build up begins. Our club doesn't have the luxury of two more meaningless games before the annual September holidays!

**** me, sorry Bowden gave an interview after the game. For once "Daisy" Thomas didn't have the microphone.

I'm not really fussed either way.

this isnt to do with the brawl or the loss or anything like that. im surprised that noone has commented on the pies not staying out to give bowden a proper send off. the previous week our boys stayed out, despite a huge loss when they could be excused for putting their heads down, and gave micky'o a proper sendoff. yet the pies couldnt be bothered to wait a few minutes and give the bloke a clap. poor form pies, you bunch of selfish weaklings. any other team would have stayed out there.

There are "warm downs" to be done......or don't you know that.?

Shoulda been held at the start when he came on the ground.
Agreed?

dont care when as long as they take 5 minutes to honor a bloke whos been dual all australian and put it heart into the game for the last 13-14 years. the average career length is not even 50 games, let alone 250. anyone who plays that much deserves the respect of a proper sendoff (from both clubs).

Instead of going off at the Collingwood players for not "honouring" a bloke how about the Richmond Football Club honour him by giving a win, or picking him when he's good enough or even playing like they wanted to be there?

There in lies the answer....

Why? He chose the Collingwood game to retire. He deserves a send off from his own club - not ours.

Whoopeee Doo:cool:......he won't be the first or last, so get over it.
In the past.......the run through of the banner was sufficient and both teams lined up.
You happy with that........ or do you want a "dinner dance" to go with it?.

Bad form Richmond, where was the guard of honour for Leigh Brown? Played his 200th game against far greater odds than Bowden (i.e. at least Bowden has some talent).

Fine - they were out there for 5 minutes X 2, and showed all the respect they could. Richmond still couldn't get their farewell act togther and f****d around for near 20 minutes before finally plodding off the ground.

Total basketcase club. Never seen such a pitiful, spineless performance for ages.

My f***ing god. You are kidding me right. Who gives a stuff about Joel Bowden seriously. 2 AA whoopdee do da day. There are players who deserve a send off ie Harvey or Hird or Voss or similar but Bowden??? The guy did stuff all in his career!! An outside playing receiver who was ultimately questioned about his hardness at the ball hence his forced retirement but hey he does play for the tiges doesn't he. He couldn't get a game anymore and the only reason he picked this week was because against the Pies you'll have the biggest crowd to give him a send off. And its your send off not ours. They waited for long enough anyway and he piss farted around. The way you idiots carried on I wouldn't have given them the steam off my piss. So yellowsash this is nothing but another troll from a pitiful tigers supporter who follows the most pathetic team in the land, but at least they give us something to laugh about each year. Flog.

well they dont have to, but out of respect, they should of stayed no matter how long it took

Oh really oh leader of all things righteous. Go away little man. Any blues supporter opening their trap on anything Collingwood has little or no credibility anyway.

After the game just about every Collingwood player went over to Joel Bowden, shook his hand and congratulated him on his career. The team stayed out there to see him off, but Bowden stayed out to pay tribute to the fans and to have photos taken with his children.

Collingwood couldn't wait all day and them staying out there would have been touted as overshadowing his moment by the media.

This thread is as funny as the other ones where

*Hislop belted the crap out of Maxwell
*4 pies on to 1 tiger was gutless
*Pies may have won the game but got smashed in the fight

Tiger supporters over reacting and clinging on to useless little insignificant issues/events, what a top shelf club. You guys are probably the biggest joke of a club in the AFL currently. Who the hell would bother wanting to coach a pathetic rabble.

Pfft. They waited long enough.

P.S. What was with the Tigers theme song being played at the ground after the game. Some of the supporters were singing... freaking bizzaro world.

They stayed out for a while, but Richmond piss farted around for too long.

This.

Maxwell had the troops congregated around the Richmond race for ages, but Bowden gave an interview, had a photo op, spent time with his kids, etc etc etc...

After a while, it was just becoming embarrassing considering he was never anything more than an average player at best.

Collingwood waited. Richmond piss farted around too long and Collingwood got sick of waiting.

The end.
