my god the hag quest is one of the worst quests I’ve ever done in a video game.

The Halsin one however was LIT

Finally getting the hang of this game… I think. And I just figured out how to use the parasites for upgrades nearly 20 hours in lol
You can use the parasites for upgrades? I’m 58 hours in and had no idea lol

i did the hag quest right at the end of act 1, still tough then.

the gimmick is that all the clones will disappear once you hit them once, multitarget spells like eldritch blast (cantrip for warlock) or magic missile (level 1 spell for sorcerer) gets rid of the clones
how does eldrich blast hit more than one enemy? I'm a warlock so I would like to know this!

when targeting, you have 2-3 "uses" or charges of the spell in a single cast of it. you can cast it on multiple targets or just the same. with eldritch blast since that has different properties on warlock specifically as opposed to having it as a multiclassed cantrip on other classes, but i think they become more apparent when you level up more. while i am playing on pc it may be slightly different to what people playing on console have but i'll post a screenshot of what i mean (on a new character, as i'm nearly finished) .

at level 1, it's just a single cast, but as you level up more it can be cast up to 3 times (at least for me at level 12)

when you level up to certain levels you can opt to develop and enhance parts of the "Warlock" pact you have with the devil, some of them are handier than others (from my perspective) but it's more apparent with magic missile. i think you get a second beam at level 5, though i may be mistaken

ah i see, i must not have got the required level yet

i accidentally posted but yeah, bang on the money

worst case scenario you can spend 100 gold with withers to respec and change spells and what not if you'd like magic missile as a cantrip*

not a cantrip, a level 1 spell (that can be upcast to fire more projectiles)

Not really a spolier as it's basic game mechanics.

I think you get the second at L5.

Don't forget to take agonising blast and repelling blast at level 2 to really make your elditch blast sting and hex targets if you're running any Warlock build for extra damage.

Finally finished my first playthrough. Got the outcomes I was after BUT

Man they fumbled that ending. Like I enjoyed the entire leadup and final encounter. It was the wrap up afterwards. Just a GG well done, **** all interaction with your party. I redid it to see if it was just my ending but nah either way pretty rushed. I had a whole plan with Minthara and it didn't even show her at all. 10/10 game for the journey but man thats left a poor taste in my mouth. Would love for them to patch/fix that up as its pretty underwhelming.

Funnily enough:

They toned it down cause they thought the original endings were too long. I suspect we'll get an Ending and Avernus DLC at some stage which'll sort that out

Just started Act II (also just hit level 7). Loving this so much.

It's very different to anything I've played but reminds me of when I first played Demon's Souls and fell in love with that genre.

Playing as a high elf wild magic guild artisan sorcerer with a cute bald pussy who gets around camp in the nude. It's really quite something and never gets old. There should be more labia in video games imho

I've just hit Act II.

First audience with the General and seeing all the minions in the tower have me filled with anticipation as to how I'm going to take the ****er down.

I have female Drow Guild Artisan, Fighter/Warlock and she's a cute baldy too!

nice, I'm just at the Inn of the Last Light still - I entered from the Underdark (after first doing the mountain pass) and I imagine that impacts where you enter the area

About 30 hours in. Still doing Act 1. Made it to the adamantine forge, quick google search and I won’t be ready for that boss.

spent about 2 days trying to beat the Nere and dwarves boss fight. Tried almost every approach imaginable. Called the ogres for help, but all my characters died except one and I couldn’t figure out how to revive so I had to re-load. Then just went into the battle without any strategy and got lucky and won. Happy days. Took his head to the Mykonos thing

There’s just so much to do. Too much at points. But yeah. Pretty great.

I couldn't get his head for some reason. I think he must have died to a non-physical attack. Oh well, don't think I missed much

lol I killed all those things on sight didn't get a quest for Nere. I pretty much killed everything in the underdark.

When it was time to kill him he went down pretty easy.
I think I was level 5 when I did the forge and it wasn't too bad.
Went to Moonrise via Underdark but had done the Monastery on the Mountain Pass - not sure if I missed much else. Will do some stuff differently on play throughs.

going through the underdark takes you to the last light inn, whereas going through the mountain pass leads you to some absolutes who’ll take you directly to moonrise towers. id recommend doing both anyway just for story/exploration/levels

There’s an error with the servers on PS5 at the moment. Have to disconnect from the network to play. A little bit annoying as I wanted to play while Mortal Kombat was downloading.
