Not the only one who has sacked Childs a long time ago.

I almosted dragged G. Childs off one day when he came back and told me that the horse was no good after the way he rode it, we got into a very good yelling match over the ride (4 wide the trip from barrier 5, then looked like he was scared to take a run between horses and was beaten a lip), I then told the owners that if Rogie wants to put him on again to get someone else to train it. Came out next start at Flemington and won by 6.
it seemed like a theme, Childs would ride, the horse as wide and would get beat, we'll put a jockey like Oli or Prebble on and it'll win, it took Rogie a while to work it out but he got it in the end.
