We would not give you Witts anyway, Witts is a better player then blokes like Lobb. No one wants to play at a club in west Sydney with no history no fans and no tradition. Also if we are going of Twitter Treloar tweeted how much he liked playing on ANZAC day saying he would love it to be a regular fixture. If he comes to the Pies it will be and he will play infront of 10 times as many people.

It's all about finding the right player. Especially when we're talking potential ruckmen since clubs only play 1 not, there would be a potential player on every list. The one standout in AFL would be Currie at the moment. He's not getting a game anytime soon, is fairly highly rated. Would back himself in over Grundy and at the moment a late 2nd-3rd rounder should get the job done.

Sounds pretty emphatic. It's of course possible this is just a facade for the media but generally players aren't his strong in their stance.

I highly doubt we'll trade Witts, with the sub rule most likely getting scrapped for next season most teams will start playing 2 ruckmen again
