Using the VSS at close range is good fun.

Improved dramatically using it.

Love the VSS, you can sit and snipe or get in close to the action, whatever takes ya fancy.
What scope do you use?

Same here, EA are conducting maintenance apparently.

I've not tried that yet, but this seems to be a EA issue as sacka points out above, as it keeps asking me to sign into 'EA online', even though I've never had to do that before, and I'm now logged into my PSN and other features of being online are working, just not BC2.

12x, but forgot that you can use 4x with it as well. Will swap next time I play, which will be a while away with F1 2010 out.

Yeah EA has been down for maintenance they are fixing the servers. I've been the only one able to be on because the ps3s been on for ages today. I kept getting messages from eveyrone about how i'm palying lol.

Also i'll post it later but I had the funniest game in a while with hate mail from 3 people in the same game. I'll the convos later.

I went 55-24 running around quickscoping people with the m24 it was hilarious.

Played a few games tonight and i am damn rusty lol mainly used the vss with either the red dot sight or the x4, wasn't really a team player .
Played most of the night in H/C rush and i have no idea why i havn't played it more
Had some lagy games, at one stage i stopped behind some cover but my guy then decided to float out into the open lol, nothin i could do and BANG D.E.A.D

It is hard as hell to start playing well in this game after being in MW2 mode for the past months.

Any tips please??

Play as a medic and throw medpacks all over the place. It's the best way to start out.

Once you got the hang of the game, start playing assualt or engineers - Repairing tanks and helicopters as well as throwing ammo packs.

Starting to improve. Got 3000+ in my last match, using medic and recon with a shotgun.
Although it helps if the other team does not play to the objective.

I was in the same situation, first thing i did was turn the sensitivity all the way up so it controlled faster like MW2

Then grabbed my sniper rifle and remembered how easy sniping is on this game compared to MW2
