So Fjell probably needs some work to stop it becoming a spawn trap 95% of the time.

I start chemo tomorrow, map gave me cancer

I mentioned to dwwaino when we were playing the other day, the map needs an underground tunnel section. Bombers are OP on that map cause enemies are forced into tight corridors but having an underground area would help spread the lanes and allow teams to flank easier (above or below)

What were we paying last night that went for over an hour? Gold Member dwwaino?

Frontlines on Twisted Steel. I think it all worked well but it’s way too easy for the enemy to defuse. It only takes a second or two for a suicide run to disarm and likely meaning the attacking team get pushed back to a flag. That’s garbage when you consider at no point did the other team look like beating us. We had them on the back foot within the first 5 minutes crashing flag after flag until we cornered them on the objectives. Could be fixed by simply making the defuse time take 5-10 seconds longer or even moving the attacking team’s spawn point up as we were too far back over the hill. It’s probably not a problem on the other maps (and we went through them all at least once last night) but that was no were near balanced.

It’s a tough one to work out what’s best for that map. I found most of the time there was always a way for the team to breakout if they were cornered, but a few times there has been a perfect storm that just terms into the spawn kill fest mentioned. Hopefully the maps get some more tuning in the next few weeks.

That was aids.
Pushing their shit in for 60 ****ing minutes but the bomb mechanic, objective placement and defuse speed ensured 50 minutes of deuce, advantage, deuce, advantage, deuce, advantage.

Just mind numbingly boring.

I literally had no idea what was going on for about 45 off those minutes. It want until i died when the thing blew up that i even knew there were bombs :p

Just running around throwing med kits at people and occasionally getting a kill

Frontlines is just a terrible game mode. When they brought it out in BF1, my mates and I played a match for well over an hour, it just wouldn't ****ing end. We were so over it. Only ever played it for medals after that.

I actually love Frontlines. The action is more focused and the battle is always mostly in front of you. Whereas Conquest, im just forever getting shot in the back. Conquest is just nuts and too unpredictable so it's kill, die, kill, die, kill, die.

Frontlines on BF1 was excellent but so far it's not really working on BFV. They are removing the bomb option though in a coming update so just anyone can arm them like in BF1.

Finished the war 3 stories on hardcore so I didn't just breeze through them and had to play it smart. The extremely low achievement % just for finishing the stories on normal says CoD probably made the smarter move not using resources on a campaign this year.

Good time waster but nothing to write home about. Next story drops in just over a week, hopefully it mixes things up a bit as all 3 followed a similar structure.

Frontlines in BF1 was awesome, loved it!
I just picked up BFV, hopefully the multiplayer is just as good.

I think this will make Frontlines better as people are used to arming mcomms. More familiar.

Played conquest on the map that looks like the desert out of Indiana Jones and the last crusade. We had all the capture points when I joined and I swear the enemy were outside the map boundary’s where it tells you to go back in within 10 seconds or you die. Very strange

Bombers don’t bother me. Just don’t bunch up on flags or choke points like on Fjell.

Hamada? Shit map. Germans start with all of the points but the British have an extra 150 or something tickets. British just have to rush C or B early for a spawn point and then the rest normally fall. It’s fun for the first five minutes but then it’s horrible. It’s too big, flags are usually capped before you get there and the big gully with the bridge in the middle just makes you feel further cut off if you’ve capped one side and the fighting is on the other.

I finally had fun on Hamada the other day when I got in a Tiger and just went on a tank spree. Great map for tanks but when you're just infantry it doesnt really work. Particularly conquest. When the map gets smaller for TDM, it's actually pretty fun.
