I said yesterday that the Bay is not the most welcoming space for female posters and sadly I think some posters cannot handle the idea of a woman winning poster of the year.

It's a disgrace, you have been attacked and your voting integrity (falsely) brought into question, and when you justly stick up for yourself, some petals are offended and think you should be forced to accept that type of insulting comments with no right of reply.

It says nothing about you but them and their own fragile male egos.

Never knew any of my grand fathers (both died years before they were born) which has always left an empty gap/hole in my life.

The person who cared for me the most and kindest for me, my grandfather has been gone for 20 years ago, miss her so much every day.

Tbh; I'm surprised I was even nominated let alone people actually voting for me.

The bay always seemed like this scared place where only the best posted when I first started lurking and I was way to scared to post here for years.

I'm actually really flattered that I got nommed and have been voted for. Even though its just a laugh and it's not a serious thing its a nice feeling to know people actually like having you around.

So thanks guys, thanks for making the bay fun and thanks to everyone who gave me a nom or vote. It's nice to know that I'm sorta okay
