No he hasn’t. Different roles. Connolly bats 3-4, and has been in for a while when he’s “hitting” at the end. Should be moving on from David but it’s not a guy batting 3 domestically. Connolly should play but at 3.

Connolly is more than capable of going down the order & playing a finisher role if required...I predict him becoming our most versatile all format batsman in the coming years.
