If they play finals, sure. Playing one or two games that blows up the entire comp is not good for anyone.

One: it’s probably made a lot of games dead rubbers where otherwise we’d probably be having a crazy finish to the year.
Two: it’s made some of these teams look a lot better than they are, and come finals the teams will be gutted again and it’ll be whoever gets lucky with player availability like it is every year
