I think I handle bad cricket better than most, but Jesus Christ I don't handle dumb cricket well.

Agar needs a smack in the back of the head. T20 isn't that hard for a batter at this stage of the game. If you've done any research into a bowler - especially a fast bowler - and if you stand back and have a look at the field, you'll identify that the bowler usually only has 2 options in terms of where he can (try and) land it. They don't have any more flexibility than that.

So how hard is it to have a plan for that? To just lazily "play each ball on its merits", as Agar seemed to be doing to night, is infuriating. That innings was a snapshot of why he never truly made it, he's just not smart enough for international cricket.

Realistically this comp is dead. Hype is long gone for any sort of competitive performance and it’s all just a bit of fun
