Billings puts pressure on his partner running between the wickets. Gilkes was under pressure to run the two. Billings barks instructions ........

The takeaway is that it's 2025 and the cameras/technology aren't up to scratch.
I think there's enough doubt to not give that, especially with real time replays.
What’s the rule here though? The ball breaks the stumps via the hands. So does he need to have control of the ball before his hands break the stumps or can the ball push the hands onto the stumps and still be given? It's the ball breaking the stumps
Technology these days you can see rocks on Mars.
On planet earth can’t determine a runout from 200 yards.
Yes,the cameras are shocking like the footy cameras. The takeaway is that it's 2025 and the cameras/technology aren't up to scratch.

Would have liked the frame inbetween the 2 frames that we got there, reckon theres a chance he broke them inbetween
That weakens the quality even more though.Easy way to fix that though. Either you’re available all season or a young kid gets a full contract. Players, especially imports, jumping in and out of the side is ridiculous.
As long as the bail isn't completely dislodged (the fielder can literally remove one end of the bail from the stumps) then it is out if the ball removes the bail completely. What’s the rule here though? The ball breaks the stumps via the hands. So does he need to have control of the ball before his hands break the stumps or can the ball push the hands onto the stumps and still be given?
For me he definitely starts the process of the bails being dislodged before the ball gets there. They start wobbling and then the zing bails go off when the ball gets closer. Not really sure of the ruling behind that either.Would have liked the frame inbetween the 2 frames that we got there, reckon theres a chance he broke them inbetween
There is probably good enough technology but like the AFL they don’t want to spend any dollars on it
No, he doesn't need to have control of the ball but if the bail is dislodged by his hand, then his hand needs to be in contact with the ball. What’s the rule here though? The ball breaks the stumps via the hands. So does he need to have control of the ball before his hands break the stumps or can the ball push the hands onto the stumps and still be given?
Early on for sure. But at least we’d start getting some consistency back. I’d rather watch Weibgen get a full season than I would Vince and Duckett playing half the games and then pissing off to a league that’s paying moreThat weakens the quality even more though.
Our wonderful game is too exciting to use silly things like modern technology.
Let the middle age, old retired men, with a bare knowledge of modern rules speculate on live TV.
The kids watching at home love the excitement of it all.
And if it starts being dislodged before the ball gets there but isn’t completely, then? No, he doesn't need to have control of the ball but if the bail is dislodged by his hand, then his hand needs to be in contact with the ball.
There's no way in the world broadcasters and the fans I think would want to watch a weakened comp.Early on for sure. But at least we’d start getting some consistency back.
