Overs are deducted far too easily in the BBL. It truly is pathetic. Give it 30 minutes of play being interrupted because of rain before deducting overs.

I think if there was a delay starting the match, they had until 4/4:30pm to start without losing any overs

But because they were into the second innings when some rain hit, they started losing overs immediately

Not sure if anyone was able to give a reasonable explanation of why

Don't need to as long as your feet/part of body aren't in contact with the ground outside the rope at the time of touching the ball

IMO that should be the rule, they should have to ground there feet inside play again before touching it

I know he's in the best 11 at the moment we a batsman, but with Lachie Shaw being a backup keeper for the Sixers, wonder if one of the Melbourne teams may look to recruit him - rumours suggest that the Stars are unlikely to re-sign Harper, so there's a spot open if he was open to move
