Seems that some people just try to pull down no matter what someone has done. Just because player x doesn't play for your team than it's ok to say 'Oh, but, but...'.

He's got an excellent beep test score, regardless of 'conditions' etc.
he's got a massive tank - blind Freddy can see that.
Let's just leave it at that. He has done well. Congrats.

Walker is a dud. So is Dalziell. Stanton is slightly above average. None of them can kick, all of them can run.

I am very happy to have Stanton at Essendon, played 141 games and is 24, with the best still ahead of him and he has scored 37 Brownlow votes, and has had some wonderful games for us,
3 top 3 finishes in our B&F.
he is not gifted with the skills, but is a very hard worker, and I think he will be right up there in the B&F again in 2011, maybe even pinch double figures in a Brownlow count.

so I would rate Stanton as a good footballer.

Chuck Norris starts at 20.

I was under the impression that the beep test was a reverse recording of the heartbeat someone who has just seen Chuck Norris. Their beat is really fast at first then he hypnotises them with his beard until it just stops beating altogether

Well said, agree completely.
I really like Brent Stanton in our squad, really nice bloke too!
141 games at 24 is massive!

Again, you are wrong. Please read the thread so this can stop.

No, again you are wrong.

Find in this thread, where it says that there are more than 21 levels? A few people say they are "pretty sure" it goes to 23, but I personally have never seen it that high.

Level 21.16 is the highest I've see in all the beep tests I have done.

It doesn't matter what you have seen.

Yes, in this very thread it sayd there were two players at Carlton who after starting it in the mid teens so that they were running in the faster levels had the test past 22.

Now go and fail somewhere else.

What a knob. Just because its mentioned here in a post doesn't make it real or true.

The standard beep test goes to level 21. At that level you are covering each shuttle (20m) at 3.89 seconds for 16 shuttles. If you complete level 21 you would have run 4.9km in 22 minutes.

The best confirmed beep test recorded is held by soccer player Hakan Mild, he reached level 19/2

Of course there might be other types of tests out there, but the standard is the 20m, 21 level.

And oh yeah...the sky is green with pink stripes. You read it hear so it must be true...right?!

I wonder what time Hird did? Isn't the rockstar training with the players?

Stanton....gee that will help them win games!!

Worst midfield in the AFL!

Is that the same midfield that managed to beat the doggies last year?
what does that make the doggies??
oh yeah prelim finalists again congrats..
I would rather have a mediocre midfield than no key forwards and only 1 key defender. But I think our midfield will be ok very soon with some young kids on the up. Bring on round one so the dogs can get smacked by the worst midfield...AGAIN..
