Drysdale had big advert in Saturdays advertiser looking so they still haven't appointed anyone. The only other coach not confirmed I think as yet is Mahoney at Newcomb. He had to reapply and they were out seeking alternatives. May still get the job as finding a suitable replacement would be tough and he did a pretty good job this year changing the place for the better.

Its the GFL which is interesting. Still a few jobs up for grabs and even the longer terms coachings may not be guarantee there positions.
 
I wonder if Wade Chapman would take on a coaching job with a team like St.Albans in the Geelong Football League, I have seen the way he prepares his charges and the manner in which he speaks to his players, the benchmarks he sets for his team and the individuals in it, a team like St.Albans would really benifit from a coach like him taking charge.

Queenscliff are recruiting well and you can expect them to start as flag favourites for 2011. Modda also have gained a young Joeys player or 2 good coin, so they may improve as well.
Funny time of year with so many rumours and still no announcement on Drysdale or Newcomb coaching roles is there?

I have heard from a good mate from Newcomb that Mahoney will get the job there and that Drysdale had a coach lined up but he pulled out.

not sure about qcliff jiver i have heard gibbs pettigrove williamson m limb ansell robinson and orvis all gone or retired grout os for half year.

Blair Robertson/Robinson (not sure on his name) from bell park to coach Drysdale
 
Where are Gibbs and the other players going. I know Limby retired but hadn't heard about the remaining boys.

Is Peter Street signed at Geelong Ammos?
 
So the grubbers have riccardo back, shane jack and big foott. Have they lost anyone? did hear they were pretty happy the way things unfolded this season.

Has anyone heard that Torquay have spoken with Leigh Harding, as have a few GFL clubs. Being a geelong boy, he would make a huge difference in ether comp. What are the Ex St Albans boys doing this year? Staying another at Toquay or moving on again?

as far as i know most of the ex-st albans guys are moving on, i think the McFarlanes and host goin back to play 2's at st albans. Gray and Grahem still undecided. Not happy with the re-appontment of the coach i think...
 
I heard Tim (I think) Balding from Joeys was heading to the grubbers, he has recently moved in Ocean grove. Does anyone know much about him?

Also why has Gibbs left queenscliff and where is he heading? He is a gun and if he could get his body right could be the difference in QC being contenders or not.
 
That was a quick one davidbain, was only agreed tonight just before the drysdale agm! Shaun wells from port signed on as well, maybe another kid from port too!

Had heard Wellsy was gone from Port a while back. A huge loss in my opinion for Port but good luck to him at the Hawks if that's where he is going. He has been with Port through a very tough period but played some great footy for the club. The possibility of losing another good young player to an opposition club ( S Lucas last year to Drysdale ) is terrible news for Port but I am not surprised after how this year finished up. Lets hope the club can change their mind as Port can't afford to lose any more good young players.
 
Ben Cousins to BH - Heard it from a senior person from the club on Tuesday. This would be fantastic for the comp

They'd struggle to fit the crowds in down at the caravan park if they pulled that off
