Benny knows the season is nearly over, so he wants a rehab clinic in Australia to have decent facilities like the ones in the US, when he checks in after his week long mad monday.

his changed my pure hatred and disgust at him to unbelivable respect.

good job.

Really good gesture, would love to get a hold of something like this to add to the collection.

I'm keen to hear how much it gets fetched for also.

Got no fear of any Fremantle players selling there Grand final jumpers now or in the distant future. You Tosser

It would have been a much nobler gesture if he had told the police what he knew about a certain nightclub shooting incident and helped remove a dangerous criminal element from Perth streets.

But go right ahead and get swept up in the hype by all means.

Piffle - The w***ers over here let the bad ones go nowadays anyway.

that's a bit nasty. The guy has fought back from a major life issue and is now nice enough to donate a prized possession to a charity that probably means something to him.

Why be so negative? Why not just give him credit when it warrants it and is deserved?

When's his Doco due for release? Seems no one wants to answer that question.

Why didn't he donate 10 or 20K anonymously if he is such a good guy? As that's all his jumper is likely to fetch.

I believe Ben only thinks about what affects him, this is a publicity stunt for his Doco.

Considering the post he was replying to, thought his reply was quite apt. Seriously, what dill would think a museum would be interested in it? Maybe a sports bar might be the go. :thumbsu:

Maybe the kind if dill that's heard of the national sports museum...

If he did it anonymously, people like yourself would be the first to crucify him for not doing enough to raise awareness for drug rehabilitation and helping others who are going through the same thing he did.

He's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't, at least this way he's raising awareness for charity by creating publicity for it rather then just anonymously writing a cheque which no-one would read about.
