Strange comment

I though the WA media was fairly laid back in there reporting of Black considering he was charged with assaulting a female police officer

Hilarious. My prediction is that Channel Eagle and the West (Coast) Australian (we might get a slightly less biased report form channels 9 and 10) will go the whole hog on the story... but they will end their reports with a great deflection "and in other football-related news, Heath Black, who last month was charged after an incident at the Perth Cup, was seen walking along the streets of Fremantle with his two young sons. It it not yet understood if any incident arose from his walk, although it is believed that he walked past two cops on the beat, one of which was a woman."

My comment was aimed directly at Mutant's attitude to drink driving.

I think you may used the wrong word then, a person does not have a culture as that word does not refer to a singular person unless it is used as say

Referring to a persons Cultural Background

You would think that ASDA would be knocking on his door saying it is time for your 'random' drug test.

He seriously wouldn't have fled the scene for merely a drink driving offense, tell me he is not that stupid. Johncock was playing Carmageddon with his real car and got a slap on the wrist, they are light on footballers... there has got to be more to it than just being on the drink.

I find it incredible that what he did isn't an offence.

If the cops chased and breath-tested the other guy, I presume they chased Cousins too?

And why did they both run? Surely only the driver had something to hide?

Maybe he was giving Lynch some tips.

A case of Docker paranoia ;)

an excerpt from news.com.au current story
'A spokeswoman for WA police said no charges would be laid today.
A spokesman for the West Coast Eagles said the club would not be making any comment on the investigation, but Cousins was likely to be spoken to by club officials in the coming days.

The club skipper was due to play in an intra-club scratch match later today'

The thread was never going to be locked so replies to that were irrelevant and off-topic.
This is the main board so your hypocrisy comment makes no sense.

I thought they were quite relevant regardless of whether they were off topic (however slightly) or not. Countless threads on the main board go off topic yet they don't seem to get pages of replies deleted. A bit of covering up never hurt anyone though did it?

Ben could have called me - I would have driven the Merc home (with or without him, preferably the latter).

It's sad that we've all gone to town, but the WCE fans should know that, after copping it on a regular basis, this is exactly what you put Freo fans through.

Suffer.

and role model? Although he may not want to be, he certainly is one.

Bens biggest responsability was to his passengers; and himself. he should have been thinking about the others in the car when he jumped behind the wheel. Sure he didn't cause an accident, but he could have, and it was AGAINST THE LAW. Even us plebs who aren't footy fans have to obey that law. I would have thought that was common sense. But then, it's something Ben has been drastically short of at times.

and IIRC, EFH has been having server problems for the last month or so, like streaker and Quinzate1 said.

I do hope that through season 06 we can give WCE fans a flogging for their teams' on field performances. This off field crap is annoying. Let's play!

So now regardless of legality, you have the club skipper out on the ******** and running away from the cops the DAY BEFORE A MATCH!!! No care for personal fitness, injury prevention etc... what an example!

Paranoia? Nah, a case of experience. You haven't noticed how all articles branch off into another topic, to make you think about something else? It'll be `Chris Connolly crossed the road with his children today, without a crosswalk attendatn nearby', and charges will be laid 'in the next few days'

Mutant's attitude reflects on him, his family and his community.

Oh the suffering. Woe is me.

Grow a skin FFS.

I think the administrators at the Eagles need to wake up!
And I suppose Benny will get yet another chance, whats number chance is that 4th or 5th!

I can tell you if I was a sponsor at the Eagles and was pumping money into the club, they wouldn't see me again! I would rather put money in a club that knows how to control it's players especially their leadership group.

The Western Force will be laughing all the way to the bank.
They have a zero tolerance for ALL players.

A good marketing prospect there for some company.
