B: Gibcus, Young, Broad
HB: Short, Vlastuin, Rioli
C: Banks, Taranto, 1 of Ross/Ralphsmith/Mcintosh
HF: Clarke, Balta, Martin
F: Cumberland, Lynch Coulthard
FOL: Nankervis, Bolton, Baker
INT: MRJ, Ryan, Prestia, Hopper, Brown

Im assuming there will be just 5 on the bench this year without a sub. I think Taranto, Bolton, Baker, Prestia, Hopper, Martin is one of the best midfield groups in the competition if we choose to utilise it. Our forward pressure has dropped off this year so i've picked three small forwards plus cumberland as a medium forward, Clarke has just been handed Lamberts old number 23 so this might be the year he plays that "lambert role". Alot of people were impressed with Campbell before he got riddled with injuries I wonder if he might have a breakout year and jump MRJ in the pecking order, similar to Butler in 2017 who became best 22 after being injury riddled
Love this team

Ross on the wing for mine

kozi plays surely, even if you send Balta fwd, Kozi goes back doesn't he???

It might be at the expense of Gibcus for the early rounds if we take a cautious approach with him, who knows.

To make that happen, you could move short to the undecided wing, ross to the bench and MRJ out...

Wouldn't have thought so.

If Bauer's tank is ok he too is a candidate for the wing position. His exceptional overhead marking is an offensive and defensive weapon/point of difference.
Is also a beautiful kick, but I doubt he plays wing.

The is the best team seen so far as you have no Kosi. I think Miller will replace Young or even Ryan as i still think Ryan needs more areas to improve in.

:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

If Miller is in our Best 23, then he's either improved out of sight, or we are going backwards.

Both Young and Ryan have already proven more value than Miller with less time on the list, so I can't see why that would change

Coming from a bloke who’s backing in Kosi. lol 😂 The pot calling the kettle Black. How have they proven that they’ve already gone past Miller ?. All three were dropped at various stages of the season. Ryan has more deficiencies atm than a third world country. Young is good body on body , but offers little at ground level and is flat footed a lot. He has improvement in him to come , but he’s not an agile footballer or multi position player like Miller. Nonsense as usual Hanky boy .

Young is light years ahead of Miller, the other 2 sure, the jury is still out, but Young is so far ahead of Miller, he shouldnt even be in the same convo.

He's not as he had the luxury to play in a fixed position for the season whereas Miller was moved around in more places than a Qantas airbus.

1 year v 6 years says it all mate, come on. You have fought hard for your boy but this is getting comical.

Doesn’t work like that mate. That’s a very simple point telling the Tiger world nothing. 😜
Its telling them Young is light years ahead and any other response but agreement is taking the piss ;)

Lol, Young have proven to be miles better in defence than Miller...
Ryan has a lot of deficiencies, but has still proven better than Miller in the Fwd/2nd Ruck role.

But Miller had to play multiple positions........ simply because he wasn't good enough to hold down one!

And if the club bring in Kozi, I'm happy to back him until I have a reason not to. I would say kozi 's form is still better than your boy Millers

Ryan has flaws to still iron out as he has poor balance, no strength in body as he’s out shoved too easily and the net result ineffective hit outs and lots of dropped marks. Like Miller he basically finished in the VFL so you drawing a long bow with him. No Miller played in multiple positions bc our Rucks and Key forward were missing. Stop making things up. But the club have also Miller on the list , so I’m happy to back him also if we’re using your simple theory.

The fact is, he hasnt played well enough in any one position and he has had time to do so.

I’m keen to see Naismith get some games and see what he can offer.
Provided Naismith stays fit he’ll definitely get games. A very competitive ruckman if injury free.

B: ??? ??? Gibcus
HB: ??? ??? ???
C: ??? Sonsie (C) Conti
HF: kozi ??? ???
F: M.Rioli Hayes-Brown Bauer
R: Colina Taranto McAuliffe
INT: Naismith Colina Clarke ???

COACH: Yze

Making a few changes:
  • Taranto wins TT, comes straight into the team
  • Sonsie rewarded with captaincy because he's lookin' big
  • Clarke onto the bench after previously being RR (havent heard him blitzing it for a while)
  • Colina coming fifth in the TT probably half a dozen times by now, gotta stick him on the bench
  • Fawcett out (injured)
  • Martin not considered yet (too many monos / bad boy attitude)
  • Conti onto a wing after Brownlow win
