The West Coast home one (the one that doesn't have the WA border on it, think thats the home one)and pre-season guernsey. The old one was also pretty good. Brisbane's is good, like Footscray's.

Well, I started barracking for the Bombers because I liked the jumper when I was a little tacker. I thought the black with a red sash looked cool when I was young. (I still think it looks cool !) The Bombers are the ONLY team to have never changed their jumper.....EVER. So, that says something !

Having said that, yellow is the most receptive colour to the eyes, and Richmonds black, witht the VERY eye catching yellow streak is a fabulous jumper.

Melbourne also have a great jumper, especially sice they changed from "normal blue" to "navy blue".

Carlton guernsey is "OK". It's bold, traditional, but it really does nothign to excite me. It's boring, as far as I'm concerned.

Even though I follow the Tiges (and I do prefer the new jumper without the sash on the back and the old white number), I do like both of St.Kilda's guerney's.

Geelong's is by far the worst although I do like their new strip a bit more that their traditional one.

If you want to see a great looking, traditional footy jumper, find a colour photo of Melbourne's jumper from the pre-advertising logos days. The navy jumper with the blood red yoke looks so intimidating.

As far as the current crop goes, I actually like Freo's home guernsey.

Nahhh, seriously, I do!

Best jumper: Collingwood's HOME jumper
Worst jumper: Collingwood's AWAY jumper.

And if I had my way I would remove ALL sponsor's logos from club guernseys AND the A.F.L. logo as well. Why pollute your club's guernsey with immoral filth?

I prefer simple designs ... stripes, sashes, hoops ... Port's guernsey is awful ... so is Freo's and West Coast's (home OR away). Other shockers include the Western Bulldogs and St.Kilda.

Carlton's guernsey is very ... how can I put it? ... very ... er, Carlton!!!

So, I guess that makes it pretty strong. I hate it. So, I guess that makes it a good jumper ... for Carlton.

Essendon has got a strong and readily identifiable guernsey. And the red and black colours are very powerful ... a glorious combination of communism and anarchy.

Richmond has a guernsey that their supporters are entitled to be very proud of. Simple. And powerful.

But you can't beat the good old black and white stripes.

KEEP IT SIMPLE ... STUPID!!!!

Brown and gold is a well used combination. Take a look at TV or Magazine graphics.

But if you all really want us to we'll change to Navy Blue so we can be indistingushable from other clubs like the trend these days

And I was watching TV the other day when they said Red and Black was a poor combination - Shops find their sales go down if they use red and Black signage.

But I must admit the 'sash' used by two clubs looks good when the players are in motion

Your right, get rid of them. Except I would keep the AFL logo, albiet a smaller version of it.

While where at it get those sponsors logos off all the official merchandise aswell.

I think Carlton has the best jumper in the AFL. Their jumper just looks so strong and full of tradition and yet its plain and simple in design. Also navy is my favourite colour.

That about sums it up for me. I also liked the old Roys guernsey too. Come to think of it, I like all the old traditional jumpers. They just inspire me about a time long gone.

What about Hawthorns pre season jumper a few seasons ago.Light blue with brown and gold diamonds.
That ranks right up there with the Leyland P27,hindenburg and the titanic.

Andrew you didn't say which was your favourite.

I don't have a 'favourite'. I was interested to see who perfers the traditioned striped and lined jumpers and who likes the modern stuff!

But I barrick for Melbourne and as a true fan i'd just have to say the dees geurnsey is great.

JubJub,

I think the "bar-code" jumper was an Ansett Cup jumper. But, yeah, it was pretty shitfull too.

The away jumper they've been wearing for the last couple of years has got one thicker stripe in the middle with a magpie logo on it. And the back is black with white numbers. The jumper's got a lot more black on it than white. But because it's an away jumper, it is usually worn with white shorts, which makes it look as weak as piss. When they've worn it in Sydney with black shorts it has looked a lot better.

The home jumper is great because it goes equally well with black or white shorts.

The Leyland p-76 is the only car in history which was entirely designed and built in australia- there was no foreign content (apart from the name)
All Holdens are based on american or european cars.

I'ts the same with the Hawthorn colours so to criticize either is un-australian (whatever that means)
