hahaha i got done on a sportstab group multi that had:

Black $3.50
Pav $3
Franklin $3 to win their groups

Was all good until Franklin in the final leg as he got 20 votes and Goodes somehow got 21. Only had $5 on it but woulda been a handy $150 and I would have never thought it would be Goodes who ruined the party. That's gambling but..

ok lol so i got my tax return back and ended up putting heaps into the brownlow as i was fairly confident on my knowledge... all in all $1100 invested... got a return of $1429 so a profit of $319... kicking myself though as sunday i went down and put $100 on bartel to win, and $50 each on 25-26 votes, 27-28 votes and 29 + votes and also today $70 each on aker and bateman to win the group and bloody hayes did it... although i did add black to lead at halfway $50 at $4... so the extra bets cost me $240.. if i stuck to my originals i would be looking at a $559 profit but $329 is still ok

here is my long list for those who are interested, i took out most my bets early on in markets when odds were good.. but a few later on.. ended up with exactly $550 of win bets and $550 of loss bets.. but a nice $319 profit

had a sh.it year and was 3 off winning it.
He will win another one if he plays 18 fully fit games and he wont win because he played the best for the year he just gets flipping votes.
Juddy to win it next year.
Bartell got robbed i think aswell.
Reiwoldt was disapointing but was never ever going to win it before, dring or after the season, didnt think lenny hayes played better than him for year though.
Ohwell theres the granny this week.

i feel your pain, although my multi wasnt quite that much, still very frustrating.. still can't believe how poorly bartel polled.
and ablett looked pretty shattered that he didnt win, again.

had $10 on cooney to win very happy as a 16 year old to come away with $160 as he was paying 16 to 1. Also bet on Jimmy last year to profit $200 i hope these winsdont give me a gambling addiction.

My summary that Cooney and Balck a masssive chances eneded up being spot on. The brownlow is fast becoming a joke though.

1) Ablett didnt win a brownlow and has been out and out fav for past 2 years
2) Jimmy B polled 29 votes last year and this year got just 10 and was paying 3 to 1 just before votes started
3) Goodes got 21 votes a massive joke
4) Hodge i think only got 2 votes this year another joke
5) Goodes played his best game of the season with 8 goals and shouldve got 3 then and he only got 1 but got 2's and 3's when he couldnt get a kick
6) too many get suspended
7) other love pet with gooes kerr got most votes for eagles and played less than half the season
8) Riewoldts a superstar and will never win a brwolow but possibly will deserve 2 by the end of his career. Maybe the most important player to any one side. only my opinion.

Strongly getting momentum that Black,Judd or Cooney could win it. Ablett wont poll more than 26 votes and i feel he is way to overrated to win but time will tell, theres no way someone should be able to win when they have missed 4 games, wont poll in wither freo games or dee games. That gives him a possible 14 polling games at of 22 and even then 4 of those look unlikely. 10 x 3 = 30 votes max and he wont get BOG in every game where he can poll. Also J.Bartel will be hugely unlucky not to beat ablett i cant see Ablett polling more than 26 votes or beating JB.

If Cooney catches the umps eyes this year he will win, if he attracts votes like a goodes or kerr or judd he will win it will tell early on. He only has 4 games where hes certain not to poll meaning 18 games he could poll. If he has Bartel and Ablett even out on 24 with Harvey on 24 he could get a 25 or 26. He may be leading at half way mark plus 3 votes in round 12 and he should poll 3 or 4 votes in the last 4 rounds giving him a big chance if he attracts the umps eye. Round 1 if he polls he may win and paying 16 or 17 dollars why not put $20 on him. Also interesting fact he polled 12 votes in his second year and 9 came from losses so when doggies are struggling and he still gets 25 posses he may sneak one or two.

S.Black is a chance and paying 23/1. He got 9 votes from games he got less than 20 posses in and also 3 votes in a draw where Black got 6 kicks. Umpire love pet. For me him or Cooney will have it after round 11 and also feel that 23 posses, 10 clearances against dees where lions looked like winning could get him 2 votes. Game against WCE he got 27 posses and 14 clearances a domination at of the middle like that could see 3 or 2 votes. but the max i see for blacky is 22 or 23 and even then i think he should sit on 19 or 20.

Judd 4 BOG could easily be 5 if he gets the chocalates against dons where he has 32 posses 2 goals and 9 clearances. another love pet paying $14 to win. Also dominates some last quarters this year to win the games for the blues off his own boot. If Fevola doesnt poll Judd could be in with a chance especially considering he could have 5 BOG's. Too many games where he is no chance to poll though and will poll similar to black around 19 - 21.

Im going $10 on cooney at $16 to win
$5 on S.Thompson top 5
$10 on S.Black to lead half way mark at $4.50
$5 on JB to win as i actually think he will go back to back (to win my money back and come out even)

Kirk and Swan are other good bets for top 5 or a place. Mitchell may suprise everyone and be right up there the whole way through.

what a summary this guy was spot on bar unlucky Jimmy who didnt get votes simply becoz he was a winner the year before.

Ablett, cooney and black the ones talked about were the main 3 and top 3.
$160 winnings on cooney and $45 winnings on black.
