Oh, dear. Reliably informed that Docklands has taken offence to some end of season break up shenanigans by.......... the umpires!! :D:D Didn't like the dress up costume of one umpire, in particular, who will receive a suspension. Media release this arvo. We'll wait and see.....

Pretty soon dressing up as Einstein will be problematic I’m sure. He probably did something misogynistic once and now needs to burn in hell for eternity
Come on now, let’s not be silly.

Bin laden
Hitler
Blackface

There’s a bunch of characters and tropes that people know not to go near when it comes to dressing up, and it’s not new.

Why Hitler and not Stalin? Or Pol Pot? How many kills does a person need before they become offensive to dress up as? Scarlett rocking up to a Mad Monday as Hannibal Lector was piss funny 10-15 years ago when it happened. Nowadays people would wet there pants at the “offence” it would cause to…… I’m not too sure to be honest

They’re all problematic.

Is there an actual list of acceptable satire targets and does a memo go round once the person being satirised is suddenly 'problematic'? I can imagine dressing as Jimmy Saville got quite the laugh at Premier League Mad Mondays until, well, what many knew already actually reached the normie sphere.

Common sense isn’t that common it seems.

Dressing up as any one that’s deemed to be responsible for the death of thousands of people shouldn’t need explaining in here.

Some of posters in here are either dim or being deliberately obtuse.

Im probably both and clearly am a little insensitive. Shit like this just doesn't register with me as something to keep me awake at night. Especially when its meant to be in jest. I had a mate in the Bali 02 bombings. I don't dive under the blankets and post rants on Facebook and contact A Current Affair if a joke about it comes to light
