It's certainly not the shock that I suspect Ted and Sandy were hoping for but neither is it anything remotely clever or interesting either. Certainly part of a past era and perhaps a product of that era but it's just vaguely sad to be honest. Would hate to think how many takes they rejected to get to that as the best of it.
