So really, you're only sorry your parents found out that you got so bad, not that you ended up in hospital.
That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying my stupidity landed me in hospital and showed me that I should really be testing stuff I get before consuming it. That's not possible with my living arrangement so I won't be getting back on it because I'm not willing to risk ending up in health strife in hospital again.

What's your point @Cryuff14? Like fair enough I get it but the dude has realised blind drug usage is not that smart. At least he got there and took the warning experience as a serious sign.

Kids these days love to think they're so tough but still have their mum make their bed and a meal cooked for them every night.

Scares me how many self-styled cool campaigners have barely been away from home for a month.

I'm more sorry that I went against my better judgement and overdid it on both counts. Wake up call to me when it comes to binge drinking and drug use.

I highly doubt it was poor gear either. Maybe a little stronger than usual but not poor. If it was poor I'd probably have some major health problems right now or the hospital would have been far more concerned.

Revolver Upstairs

Tell him to embrace the place

Thanks... glad to know some thing don't change even after 10 years! :thumbsu:

I was going to send them to crown anyway.. was it called "heat" then? I'll send them there and also ask them to check out revolver/chapel st

I'm sure that post was half tongue in cheek. I know your intentions are good but I would reconsider directing your nephew towards going out clubbing when it seemingly isn't reflective of his personality

The only thing more Melbourne than commenting on some trendy place in Northcote is saying how you saw something at Berghain. Feeerk.

As trendy as taking your photo in front of the Keith Haring mural on Johnston Street? Feeerk.

Thanks... the 2nd post was.

I just want him to go out and meet other people rather than being stuck in his room 24/7. Sending him out with his cousin to a club is just to give him some exposure, even if he ends up being a wallflower.

freebloke your nephew might do better in a pub (not a shithole pokies one). Unless you're going to give his shyself some drugs for the club.

Thanks... was thinking of a pub also. Elephant and wheelbarrow for him and his cuz on fitzroy st.

Also, when I was his age, I went to a lot of clubs, but never popped any pills

Nightclubs are essentially shitholes; it's just a place to end up and drink more piss at with your mates and to try and pull.

I think their existence reflects there isn't festivals or friend-in-the-inner-north wyckyd house parties on 52 weekends a year. But as a now anti-drug person you probably wouldn't get it.

Silent Alarm is 23 going on 40.

Think we might need one more person to just parrot that this nephew shouldn't be forced into doing things he's not suited for.

I am not holding his hand and pushing him out the door, ok?

He just stays indoors a lot, and if I put it up as a suggestion, it'll be completely up to him to go or not. All I asked was which nightspots are still current so that I can put a name in front of the dude.

Sort of unrelated but I have to say Perth isn't a bad place to go out these days. Prices have stagnated and evened out with everywhere else and the diversity of decent nights most nights make it actually a decent eve out.

So you did move back in with your parents in Perth. This explains you shitting on everything.

Yeh MDMA is a weird one. While you're on it it's the best high you'll have, I don't even mind the come down these days, but it's the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday following it that almost make it not worth it. It's a seasonal thing, but the absolute apathy and bleakness that comes out is otherworldly. Like you're in a Series of Unfortunate Events or something.

Couldn't imagine doing a bikkie while already intoxicated though.
