Goodwin was pretty good in that 2009 final against the Pies. But we lost.

I did the same except I put Sloaney in Knight's place.

Footnote:
From where I was sitting last night, Cameron was quite lazy in pressuring the ball carrier (usually his direct opponent) coming out of our forward line.
I don't know if anyone else at the game noticed this at the Crow Cheersquad end.

CC... if you are reading this, You were superb at this aspect of the game when you debuted against the Pies last year...go back and look at the tape and pull your farking finger out. Its not just about your goalkicking.

I noticed this on TV. I watched him closely as I thought he must have had an injury. Never seen him give up on so many chases before.

He limped off in the first 5 minutes, thought he was gone for the night.
Cameron off injured, Thommo off with the blood rule, 3 goals down. All in the first 5 minutes.

I'll admit it... I had a few doubts creep in.

Dougy very much underrated in this game. Was far more influential than Henderson despite his 29 touches.

It was real evident watching from the game.
Having said that, his sprint down the middle to nail that Tex pass was extraordinary; considering the night he'd had.
Do you remember his debut game against the Pies?? He was Eddie-electric and provided the best pressure Id seen all year. Needs it back!

Homework:

1. Watch the game 2-3 more times so that you know it inside out
2. Pick your best five Crows players
3. Vote in the poll in this thread
4. Watch the game another couple of times to make sure you were right.

Can this all wait until next Monday week? :) - everythings been so hectic since last Friday - haven't even had time to watch a replay yet let alone even go on the Port board to read their version of events.

I rarely venture onto other boards but Port's General AFL talk thread on Saturday night is beyond hilarious. Well worth the read. It goes for about 50 pages too. Can relive the game in all its glory.

I'm sure we were the same during their finals wins the last couple of seasons but nice to be on the other side of the fence

I may have to go there as some alter ego, otherwise i'll be destined to never grace these boards again.
