A few changes. That's actually a tough task if everyone is fit and firing, which should start to put pressure on the seniors, which is just what you want.

I reckon that would be fairly close, although I get annoyed when people say we will pick Rich or try to put a player in our team that isn't even on the list, its looking a bit too far ahead in my opinion.

Many would have Kennedy in there and maybe even Notte.
I wouldn't be playing MacKenzie and Wilkes too.
Schofield, Masten, Ebert, Houlihan, Davis, Brown, Notte, Kennedy, Seaby, McNamara and Stenglein the sort of players that have been left out could easily be in that 22 by next year. So its interesting times ahead.

This would be my 22 though:

FF: LeCras, Hansen, Lynch
HF: Wirrpanda, Kennedy, Hurn
C: Rosa, A. Selwood, Staker
HB: Nicoski, Wilkes, B.Jones
FB: Waters, Glass, Hunter
Foll: Cox, Kerr, Priddis
INT: Seaby, Stenglein, Embley, Butler

EMG: McNamara, Ebert, Masten

-Brown could be in the side if he recovers well from his knee injury, if he stays at the club.

Others: S.Selwood, Schofield, MacKenzie, Houlihan, Davis, Spangher, McKinely, Notte, McGinnity and Armstrong could be close.

Overall these bunch of players are looking pretty good still, just gotta keep em on the park.

Wirra will be on his last legs IMO. Doesnt have the legs even now to run out a Flank position. Has to be played from the Bench or ina Forward pocket.

Lynch has to be used up the ground. Him and Hansen deep in the forward line is to tall. Did you watch the game on the weekend? Lynch is at his best roaming across half forward and up the wings.

Dont think Rosa will be starting

I put Lynch in the pocket sort of intending that he could roam around wherever.
Agree that Wirra could be on his last legs but apparently wants to go around again, may be rested throughout the year a bit.
Rosa I could agree on, I rate him though and think he will be a pretty good player. A skinny Embley.

Easiest task all year! :D

FB: Waters, Glass, A.Selwood

Mckinley, Stenglein, Staker, Hansen, Seaby, Fletcher, Graham, Braun and Armstrong are either Delisted, Traded or Retired.

I havent seen the game yet but I was SO pleased to see Nico back himself and get that handball off Hansen for a MIGHTY GOAL!!!!

"NICOSKI...... GOALSKI!!!!!"

Hope that gets his confidence up and going again :thumbsu:

Was much better on Saturday, and yes, his confidence is definately on the rise, he's running the lines by himself a lot more and handballing to stationary players a lot less.

One bit that summed it up was in the second quarter; he had the ball on the wing, ran through the corridor and instead of just blazing went all the way with his run and nailed a pass to LeCras between two St Kilda players.

The goal near the end was great, especially with his celebration, I haven't seen him like that since 2006:D

He re-signed with the Eagles

So you can trade a player that is not in contract then?

My team looks something like:

B: Waters Glass Selwood
HB: Jones Hunter Embley
C: Lynch Butler Staker
HF: Hansen Kennedy Nicoski (back in form baby)
FF: LeCras McKinley Wirrpanda
Foll: Cox Kerr Priddis

Int: Masten, Seaby, McKenzie, Ebert, JMac, 1st pick

Could challenge for the 8 if all are healthy.

Why do so many people have Hunter as CHB? He's no longer the best option there, I'd prefer one of Wilkes, McKenzie or Spangher and have Hunter as a 3rd tall down back or bobbing up in the forward line.

B: Bones, Glass, Selwood
HB: Embley, McKenzie, Nicoski
C: Lynch, Priddis, Rich
HF: LeCras, Kennedy, Ebert
FF: McKinley, Hansen, Waters

RR: Cox, Kerr, Masten

INT: Wilkes, Butler, McNamara, Staker

EMG: Wirra, Seaby, Davis

I like that team, i hp[e we keep Mckinley or my name looks stupid :(

But i would rather Hunter at FF atm with Lynch up the ground ad staker in that team as well

FB A Selwood Glass Schofield
HB B Jones Wilkes Embley
C Rosa Pridis Staker
HF Waters Kennedy Butler
FF McKinely Hunter Le Cras

Foll: Cox, Kerr, Masten

Int: Lynch, Ebert, Brown, Hurn

Emerg: Seaby, S Selwood, Davis, Notte

Depth: Stenglein, Nicoski, Hansen, Wirra, McKenzie, Spanger, S Selwood, Cones, etc

Truth is we cant speculate too much before December 12. As we wont have any idea who will and wont be in the squad. I hope Schofield, Staker and McKinley sign up as I think they are the only ones left yet to sign and they are all from the East.

Do you reckon Wilkes is our best bet at CHB?

You're banking on McKinley leaving?

Will be interested to see what role we find for Hansen. If Kennedy and Brown take the key forward roles, can Hansen really play in a FP? It makes for a pretty lumbering forward line.

Do you reckon Rosa will be best 22?
