I thought the pet membership stuff was BS but discovered it's a thing... cringe!

I take it you bought your membership then chose if you wanted seats at either Subi, the WACA or both?

If that's the case the tiers work out to ~$500/$400/$200 in today's money, which is about half what they are now, (excluding the "upper premium" options with catering etc), and with 1.5 times more bums for seats too...

The fact that there are still so many people willing to pay these prices for such poor quality performance is a big reason why the club is in the hole it is in. All they care about is money and that hasn't been affected so that enabled them to drag their feet making hard decisions on the list and off field positions for so long and has enabled them to be so complacent.

Imagine if the membership revenue had the potential to drop by 50% if the members who were disgusted by Pyke's trade week debacle on top of the bottom 4 finish decided not to bother buying a membership for next year and future years until the club admin started putting some runs on the board. All of a sudden they wouldn't have been so worried about offending Richmond by low balling them over Baker.

Ah yes kayo.

Anyone have the AFL Digital Membership through the Club?

Took mine out in June 2024 which gave you 12 months of Kayo for $250. The price has increased to $325 & has been tacked onto my membership invoice even though the subscription itself is not due to expire in over 6 months. Bit rude to be charging the subscription renewal that far out.

You can. I had one during my year abroad and went back for the winter break and used it through a VPN.

Also Watch AFL has less problems than Kayo does. I remember last year people not being able to watch a Melbourne final through Kayo for like a quarter. I called some mates and just pointed my phone at my TV and they watched a quarter through it.

Yeah. I took it out in February. Same deal, new subscription tacked onto my season membership.

Kayo increased their prices last year so maybe the club passed the increase directly onto members?

It'll be a funner season to watch in 2025 don't worry buoys.

No more Simpson and his same stale ideas and credits. Lifeless games with a dead atmosphere over by QT. More young talent coming through, it'll get better.

The cost to attend a game on the other hand, is only getting worse and worse.

Don’t think anyone has but enduring the bad times make the good times taste that much better
I had some good fun this year. Many more close home games and some surprising wins against Freo and Melbourne, as well as a few very close wins/losses (Gold Coast, Bombers, North).

I think Hawks and GWS were the only complete roll overs at home (oh, Carlton too). Much better than the previous years.

Yep looking forward to watching the good times on TV now. Even my mate who is about a 15 year member has pulled the pin on membership. This will give room for other people to get membership.

Bumping this as I'm unsure where else to put it. Did anybody else apply for a seat change?
My experience was a lot better than the farce that was the gather round ticket release

In a nutshell, window opened over an hour early but the seats I wanted didn't become available until a couple of hours after the window officially opened
I've moved from 545 to 516 in the hope of getting less sun for our afternoon games
I relied on the Virtual Venue , but time will tell if I made the right choice

Got a text saying my window was open at 10.16am, had to wait 50 deep in a Ticketmaster queue to access the portal but other than that it was a seamless experience. Had an email confirming my change in my inbox at 10.32am.

I applied. I have had 2 A Reserve seats for a while and a mate just got elevated from ITW. Am hoping to get 3 seats together. The club do absolutely sfa to help with this.
There are no blocks of 3 seats together in A Reserve and they said even if I found people willing to swap seats they would not allow it because “they would have to do it for everyone”.
