i have seen dylan play in the rdjfl as a young kid very small but well built, smart around goals ne1 else heard of him what do u know i am interested to know what do u know kanga kid

Went down and watched the Under 18A game between Port Colts and Hoppers Crossing.

Hoppers looked to have the Colts measure early with Colts gun forward Jase Perkins struggling to break free from the 3 man tag applied by Hoppers back line.
To Perkins gredit he held his cool and broke free in the second half with the help of his fellow forwards and took some great marks and kicked 4 second half goals, he and the rest of the Colts boys stuck to their tasks and never gave up and their persistance paid off with a thrilling come from behind win with a goal after the final siren getting them over the line by 4 points.

Who kicked goal after siren? I watched a bit of the Willy Altona game and it was a shocker. Willy only won by 6 points. Apprently i heard one of the parents say that they were trying out alot of players from their B team and resting a few of there better players, but still they were not at all good. Well done Altona for getting so close

Jason(son of bull)Perkins is a player that you should have a very good look at wrfl scout, but im sure you already have him peciled in your book.

First game ive watched of the 18's and what a game it was, they have some great talent down there and i think they were missing about 5. In the last Perkins roamed every where, great coaching by Bull the great man and his staff.

Watch out Willi and Werribee the Colts are firing.
Danger Danger

I think Perkins and Clarke are having a shoot off to see who kicks the most goals will be intresting as they both can play, and Clark being in line to kick a 100, Jets would be kicking themselves if Perkins wins the goal kicking in his first year under 18's, it would be another great move by the success Jets

I have heard a bit about this kid Jase Perkins, Whi is he not playing at the jets he would have to be one of the best juniors to come out of the colts i no a few of the colts boys they are good value, if any of yous poat on here could u give your views on who u think are the top 5 best players to come out the colts juniors. going by what they have achieved. and there record to date. cheers go colts

The reason he's not getting a go at the Jets is because the coaching staff have got know idea.

Big game this week between Willy and the Colts, I'll be going down for a look. I know for a fact Willy have some pretty important players not playing this week, and after how they played against Altona this could be very close game.

i was at the colts and hoppers game what a great game of footy to watch. it was a very physical game and thats what probaly won the game for port in the end hoppers backed down a little bit.
the keys players for the colts were obviously jase perkins who kicked four second half goals and dominated in the guts wehnhe got in there, the new bloke from W.A was outstanding probaly the best on the ground, josh murphy a new player to the colts this year has dominated all year and is a great pick up for them and justin snow dominated the clearences early but wasnt as good in the 2nd half but still had some impact.
All the praise must go to trent franklin because of the goal after the siren it was like the colts had won the granny i just hope it doesnt back fire on them later in the season but overall it was a great win for the colts. They will be fired up this week against willy

Agree 100 % If and when my boys are in a posistion to play the next level of footy I will defenit;y not steer them in the jet direction, kids from colts should work in some sort of deal with Port, kids from other areas encourage your folks to shift out of the area. The jets have never been structured correctly since the days of their inception. Originally based at the show grounds they had resonable success, once the splitt occured ( Calder Cannons formed )the jets have been a rudderless ship moving base a couple of times and appionting coaches that are more interested in their own well being as opposed to the kids they are supposed to be developing.

The person you were thinking of is Gary Booth, he no longer coaches them.

Their current Coach is James (BULL) Perkins (Jase Perkins father) and I agree he is doing a great job.

Good veiws agree, never hear anything positive about the Jets. And the bit on Bull is spot on and he has people helping him go in the right direction like Johnny P, maybe there is a future Senior job along side Jason Clarke and Ellis there to help with the seniors and importantly the juniors coming into the difficult transion
