I cannot imagine how many who signed up don't use BetR anymore but i would reckon it might be higher than 80 percent. They aren't getting the turnover they expected to pay for the bonuses. Whoever thought up the promo bonuses really shouldn't have a job anymore, no foresight whatsoever.

I know a few people on the outer of the operations, but not the key players. The real screw-up here was offering them all at once. Should have just stuck with the Melbourne Cup 100-1 promo and then slowly rolled out the rest to keep momentum. Terrible foresight as you say.

Yeah this is the way, don't drop it all at once so you get one news cycle, drop one a week over 6 weeks and get maximum cover. Also ensures people signing up for the initial 21-1 Anamoe odds are then logging in again at least weekly over the spring racing period.

My parents account is on the Celtics to win. I think thats a fair time for me to cash out. I was one of those naysayers that didnt have the Celtics coming back from 0-3.

As someone mentioned on the NBA thread, there is a chance Boston might blow it in Game 7 against Miami. But I also think Denver with that extra break (playing 3 games less in the WCF) have an advantage now. This Boston v Miami series has been a physical series.

Boston market price is $2.38 to win the NBA Title at the time of writing, so I believe to lock in a guarantee $500 is fair for me. I can just sit back and enjoy the playoffs without the stress. Im quitely confident Denver will beat Boston if the Celtics get to the Finals.

Actually I might have a a bit more on Boston to win as they are now $2.40 to win the NBA title, just want a bit more profit on Boston than I do on Denver

A P & L Of say +490 Denver/+514 Boston seems a reasonable to me

It would just feel a bit weird riding out the Celts all season with their never say die attitude. Boston sports teams seem to have that DNA in them, eg think Red Sox 0-3 down in 2004 baseball, Patriots down by some large margin in the Superbowl one year coming back to win it (down 3-28 against the Falcons)

Any Collingwood cash out option won't be favourable with respect to the odds in the same way as we've seen for Boston.

Collingwood were only equal 5th faves during the pre-season (with Carlton!), with a bulk of people likely taking up the offer for Geelong and Melbourne.
