One of the things people need to be aware of is that a number of the smaller online bookies have multiple brands as noted by some posters here.. so they'll be aware of your behaviour if you operate on one of the existing brands they have...I suspect based on my experience and my time in corporate investigations they'll be using tools looking at are you using a VPN, are you linked to other accounts by cookies,is your phone number recently issued, is your email address recently created then they'll use the terms and conditions they have to either restrict your bonus allowance or make it difficult for you when you withdraw. I'm surprised having read some t&cs in detail today that they are approved by their licensing bodies.

It's an exchange. Different crowd to the people in this thread. You would need to know a broker. There was a guy on here going back a few years that was but can't remember the handle. I think once Pinnacle pulled the rug on Australian punters it hasn't been worth running the gauntlet with overseas operators IMO. You'd need to be turning over astronomical amounts.

Now my account has been blocked unless I provide all my bank transaction details which I think is an excessive breach of privacy. Is there any way for me to get out of this? From the questions they want me to answer, it seemt they think I am impersonating someone which is blatantly false as I have verified with my Passport and Drivers.

Please contact the regulator and be guided by them. They'll give you the right advice. The more complaints these small, scummy licensees have against them, the quicker they will fade into obscurity.

99.9999% chance that it's in the T&Cs you agreed to when you signed up. If you try escalate it with racing bodies or governmental bodies then they will say it's justified under the AML/CTF act. i.e. they are not required to justify their reasoning for requesting such documentation even if their actions are clearly punitive (try to fish for a reason to void winnings or make life difficult for winning bets).

I had a look at the t&c and it has a vague mention of "documents" which I'd interpret as drivers and passport etc which I am completely willing to provide, just not willing to give them my private financial transactions. At the end of the day, they could just say I breached the rules even after I take the time to comply with their extortion.

Does this mean that any betting firm is just allowed to ban people for no good reason hide behind the AML laws and effectively steal my winnings?
