Never wanting to let the truth get in the way of a good tale, saying dog pools can triple/regularly triple in the last tote update is fairy-floss.
Of the x65 dog races so far today (VICTab), 0/65 pools have tripled in size.
The average pool increase in the last update across the entire day is +28%.
Warragul's x12 races saw an average last update increase of +13%, R6 the largest going from 4,782 to 6,150
Shepparton's x12 races saw an average last update increase of +19%, R4 the largest going from 3,362 to 5,038
Maitland's x11 races saw an average last update increase of +52%, R10 the largest going from 4,596 to 10,876
All other cards are still going. Given only 2/65 thus far have managed to double in size (Maitland R6 & R10), saying pools triple in size regularly is pretty fanciful...

Double, triple, whatever Trevor. They go up a lot. Sheesh, don't you have anything better to do than compile that info?
I'd be surprised if they were to lay off given the size of them these days.
a) They don't go up that much at all in reality
b) It took a touch under six minutes, and two of those minutes was checking and re-checking that the numbers were correct

No idea. I didn't do any racing bets with them for about 2 years maybe that was it?

It has happened to me twice before, once with Betstar and another time with Centrebet. I was limited again within one week at Betstar and within one day at Centrebet.
I can't say the same about Bet365.

so sportsbet emailed me an offer saying they will match what ever i deposit as a bonus bet uncapped. so is there a limit that they haven't specified in there email? they were my number one bookie but i haven't deposited there in about a month since i moved over to william hill during the aussie open

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread, but Pointsbet, Australia's only spread betting company, is launching this week. Claim to have a heap of unique basketball markets that no one else in the world has. Would be lying if I said I wasn't curious
I remember spread betting was huge in the early 2000s in the UK. Bookies pick the line and you bet an amount. If you bet the over you win your stake multiplied by how much over it is, if the under comes up you lose your stake multiplied by how under it was. Overseas cricket pro used to spread bet on corners and time of first goal on EPL games.
