No doubt this may be an unpopular opinion around here and I do still like Langer and was unimpressed how he was ousted BUT...
It seems this team has blossomed under McDonald and they have created a very successful culture and likeable persona. I think Langer played a role especially after picking up the pieces from Sandpapergate but I think moving him on when they did looks to have been the right move.

It's hard to argue with success. Still pissed me off that we seem to switch off in England after we retain though :/
Not sure switched off is the right term . Losing Lyon was a huge factor, England started playing much better with Woods and Stokes firing aided by sone poor bowling tactics. Then there was the ball change in the 5th test that cost us a win. By rights it should have been 3-2 with England winning the 4th washout and Aus winning the 5th cheat ball test.

The game went on smoothly until India, chasing a target of 252 set by Sri Lanka, lost the wicket of Aasish Kapoor. It was at this point that the crowd gave vent to its pent up anger at the pathetic Indian batting.

It's amazing how Yadav becomes a world beater when it's T20 but he looks like a completely different player when it's an ODI
