That was anges excuse for lack of rotation last year, not having enough games for everyone. Can't complain about it. Just got to be better.

It could well be the reason ange loses his job though. Not accumulating enough points when you had the resources available against awful sides, falls on the coach at the end of the day.

It's harsh but there's no Brennan Johnson at a top 4 team, you can't be a player with no creativity at all unless you're scoring at a ridiculous level. When he plays the team can only progress the ball down one side

I think he serves a purpose in anges squad

He's goals to mins ratio is pretty good and offers a lot on the counter

I just posted this in the match day squad but after reading the last two pages I can see there’s some realistic posters here and not the standard nuffies you see on Facebook following a loss.

I’m not really sure what Spurs fans and Ange critics are expecting from this side.

They’re contending very heavily for the league cup. Fans have been whinging about going so long without a trophy yet they’ve knocked out two contenders in the competition, should be backing him in heavily on this one and hope they can somehow catch Liverpool on a off day.

Europa, just outside making the final 8 automatically and with their run home they should squeeze themselves in it. At worst they make the final 16 and continue their run from there.
Again they could give the comp a bit of a shake here if they can maintain their squad.

EPL, yes people can say they are 11th but they are also 4 pts off City and 5 pts off 5th.
Any side is these spots in between can charge up the table quickly if they get a run of good results.
Obviously the Fulham, Palace and Ipswich results are the ones that have hurt their standings in particular but they’ve smashed City, Utd and had a crack against Chelsea and tried to take it up to Liverpool.

Depth seems to be the issue here and managing all three competitions with a high tempo style is the main challenge that is threatening to derail their PL season.

These same spurs fans whinging about their vulnerability out the back are the same ones who moaned about the four style of Mourinho, Nuno and Conte so I really don’t know what they want?

The philosophy of how ange wants to play isn't the problem. The results show that. Before yesterday it was all single goal defeats and wins by decent margins.

The problem lies in the results against lesser opposition where they stifle our style. It's actually the slow down of the chance creation and the scoring that creates the problem, which then is us conceding simple goals.

It wouldn't matter conceding a simple goal against Leicester or Ipswich if we'd have scored 4.

That was horrible. Most teams in the league that games 0-0 at half time. Spurs though, Sarr makes an insanely stupid decision and leaves his area of the pitch and no one covers it leaving a piss easy counter attack.
