1 - Melbourne
2 - West Coast
3 - Adelaide
4 - St Kilda
5 - Fremantle
6 - Essendon
7 - Bulldogs
8 - Geelong

9 - Port Adelaide
10 - Sydney
11 - Collingwood
12 - Hawthorn
13 - Brisbane
14 - Kangaroos
15 - Carlton
16 - Richmond

There ya go...I remember laughing at that cause its half accurate and half wrong at the same time (like Caro)

1 - Fremantle - just you watch.
2 - Western Bulldogs - here they come folks.
3 - West Coast - minor premiership hangover, with concerns about depth.
4 - St. Kilda - one last chance.
5 - Sydney - thereabouts once again.
6 - Melbourne - really need to step up to the plate.
7 - Richmond - at last they say.
8 - Collingwood - not convinced with them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

9 - Hawthorn - primed for a finals return in 2008.
10. Adelaide - age will catch up with them.
11. Essendon - improvement will come naturally.
12. Port Adelaide - another year in the doldrums coming up.
13. Carlton - see Essendon, the improvement is coming.
14. Geelong - haven't got the cattle to sustain long winning runs.
15. Brisbane - Aker is right, Lethal has lost control.
16. North - sad for them.
Really??? :D

1. West Coast dominated the H/A- slight blip at the start of the finals, but won the flag and wont lose enough talent to finish outside the top two
2. Sydney Like a typical premiership side they generally do just enough in the finals, but Roos will make sure they finish in the top four. I think top two
3: Western Bulldogs: WILL be the next Great Victorian Hope, and EVERYTHING will depends on how their big man stocks go.
4. Fremantle: Starting to burn, they have one of the best KPP in the comp (Pavlich) and a talented side finally delivering

5. St Kilda: Still have talent to burn, still have Gehrig, and all depends on how they gel under the new coach. Could surprise.
6. Adelaide: Last Chance. Stars arent getting any younger, and their lack of rucks will hurt bigtime. Dont expect to challenge for the flag, but we saw what Port did after yeas of choking. Will either just make the finals, or will finish well outside the eight, either way Crows supporter will have to expect a Brisbane like slide in the next few years.
7. Melbourne: Will be thereabouts, but seem to make a habit of late season dives. Have talent though, if they can avoid playing Carlton more than once, that will help.
8. Geelong: One of two things will happen: They will make the finals like the talented side they are, or they will miss the finals like the fragile side they are. I think they will make it.

9. Richmond: No explaination necessary
10: Hawthorn: Almost there, but not quite. The 2005 Western Bulldogs pf 2007
11: Post Adelaide: Rebuilding, and doing a damn fine job of it.
12: Brisbane: Jonathon Brown will see them get enough wins to go reasonably close. Wont disgrace themselves while they rebuild.
13. Collingwood: Old. Beyond Adelaide, Collingwood has the biggest cause of concern. Several stars slowing down, and will certainly lose a few after next year. I for one, will enjoy seeing the black and white masses writhe.
14: Carlton: Pumping more experince into the kids, but if we lose Thornton, we might be in trouble. Dont think the current ineptitude of the board will affect the playing group at all.
15: Kangaroos: Get used to it Roos fans
16: Essendon: In a few years time will have the worst list ion the competition. If any of Lloyd, Fletcher or Lucas go down, kiss 2007 away 'Dons fans. And hopefully this is right, because I would love nothing more (okay, seeing Collingwood with the spoon) that Essendon with the '07 spoon.

There are my (somewhat obvious) observations and predictions.

oh the delicious irony

With 6 rounds left:

1. Geelong - Okay I'll own up for this and a few others. Wasn't expecting this, but, bloody hell.
2. Kangaroos - Even more impressive than Geelong really.
3. Port Adelaide - the best of the non-Victorian sides.
4. Sydney - a run of home games will seal the deal for them.
5. Collingwood - kids have proven well.
6. West Coast - is there an era change coming up?
7. St. Kilda - the big improvers for the second half of 2007.
8. Essendon - big surprise to see them come up.
---------------------------------------------------------
9. Hawthorn - hmm. There and thereabouts, but, face a tough run in.
10. Brisbane - thank you Jonathon Brown.
11. Adelaide - might just miss out.
12. Bulldogs - the lack of a key forward is beginning to tell.
13. Fremantle - brand new coach will be helpful.
14. Carlton - here's a priority pick coming up.
15. Melbourne - oh my. Lots of underperforming and injured talent here.
16. Richmond - OUCH!

1. Geelong
2. Collingwood
3. Kangaroos
4. Hawthorn
5. St Kilda
6. West Coast
7. Port Adelaide
8. Sydney

9. Adelaide
10. Western Bulldogs
11. Essendon
12. Fremantle
13. Brisbane
14. Melbourne
15. Carlton
16. Richmond

Too early to be making predictions, but what the hell:

West Coast - truly top quality players in the middle, now with a forward or two
St Kilda - possibly the best list in the comp, and now won't have the worst coach
Adelaide - last year near the top
Sydney - just know how to win, except yesterday
Melbourne - could really be anywhere from 3rd to 13th
Western Bulldogs - trade well and they could go higher
Fremantle - its a good list, but so are so many others
Geelong - really should be higher

Port Adelaide - they aren't a bad side
Richmond - at least its not 9th
Collingwood - bye bye magpie
Brisbane - Brown, Hadley and others back
Hawthorn - at the start of the year I thought they'd have a poor 2006 and build to 2007; from what I've seen they aren't as far advanced as I expected and 2007 will be a struggle as well
Essendon - Lloyd being back will make them more competitive, but not enough to win too many more games
North Melbourne - hate to say it, but our list is cr@p. Some good signs for '09 and beyond, with Harris already our most important player and Swallow, Moran, McIntosh, etc coming through; but presently lacking both pace and key position players
Carlton - and deservedly so, the cheating cretins

I'm happy to say I got it all wrong.
Delighted in fact.
Written the day after the GF apparently.

WORST PREDICTION EVER!:thumbsdown::mad:

I Haven't seen something as funny as this in a while! HAHA!

3/8 for each 8.

How was that a half decent prediction? Absolutely disgraceful prediction

Not only is your 14th placed side on a winning streak of 15 .. but Melbourne, Bulldogs, Freo and Richmond are all in your top 8.. not to mention you still have WCE and Swans in the top 2.. Carlton too high, Port too low, Eagles too high, Kangas WAY too low .. the list goes on. The only prediction you're going to get right is Essendon .. and POSSIBLY Crows & Pies. Terrible, terrible prediction you really should be ashamed of yourself .. I have also reported your post due to crapy predictions & hope you enjoy your ban

Right... You criticise someone on there prediction yet earlier on you were bagging posters posters for saying the Kangaroos would finish higher than the Crows and Bulldogs.
Your weird.

haha! its classic looking back on 2006, and seeing how off people were

West Coast, - This side is still so young and will be the benchmark, will go through the year with very few losses and will fall seconds short on GF day with a hurting loss.
St Kilda - Decent Coach, the weak attitude will disappear, Will get heavily criticized after losing a Prelim again.
Bulldogs - They will storm home
Hawthorn - Youngsters will get on a roll but get destroyed at the MCG in the 2nd week of finals.
Port Adelaide - A fit Tredrea will fix our goal kicking problem
Fremantle - Mentally weak still but have a good list
Geelong - On a mission after a dismal 06
Sydney - Will make up the 8 and get belted by a record score in their first final

Richmond - Will be up and down again and get an average draft pick
Carlton - Jacks Back, the paper bags will give them motivation
Adelaide - No Ruck, no forwards, Dad's Army list, will burn out mid season and throw a lot of games after having big leads in the third quarter
Kangaroos - Will get their 7 wins and a nice tan
Melbourne - Off to the Snow
Collingwood - They'll hit reallity after Rd 4 and develop the June curse again
Essendon - Still too raw
Brisbane - Falling apart like Devine Homes

Geelong - on a mission :thumbsu:

At least I didn't have the ROos bottom, and swap around the bottom 2 with 8 & 9 and I'm on the money.
Apologies to Collingwood. I thought with Buckley getting old the Pies would struggle.

Hmmm.. you got .. Adelaide, Brisbane, Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, Melbourne, Kangas, Richmond, Saints, West Coast and Bulldogs WRONG but apart from that ... good :thumbsu: .. well for a beginner anyway.
