Dont know why everyones getting so excited, this game would of been good last month but i reckon it's fizzled out a little, Geelong will make a statement tonight if they havent already and smash the glamour side of Hawthorn to the tune of 50+ points. Hawthorn are over-rated, were terrible last week against an average St Kilda side who somehow we even managed to beat.

Agree 100%, I was far more excited for Geelong/Bulldogs, and we all know what happened there.

Both are playing.

Milburn, Ablett, Ling, Wojinski and Egan are out for Geelong, Crawford is out for Hawthorn

If Hawthorn don't win tonight, they never will

Ablett is only the real big OUT there..... Geelong will still win.

I herd on the radio both Mitchell and Hodge were in doubt anyway. So no way they are 100%, which you have to be against the geelong midfield.

Those All Australian defenders Milburn and Egan would be handy against an excellent Hawthorn forward line...

Wouldn't mind them... but hasnt egan been out for most of this year anyway. They wont get it up there anyway dont worry. Watch Hawthorn decide to be buddy concious all night, whilst scarlett and harley tag team him all night, Relax, they are no chance.

I wish people would stop saying Egan was an out. He's not, he's a season-long injury that isn't going to play this year. We are going to have to play without him and that's how it's going to be. Put Ablett and Ling in the side and it's absolutely full strength. I'm sick of excuses, if Geelong loses it's more than likely going to be because we got outplayed regardless of those two not playing, not because we have a couple of outs.

Good game so far, stop being so ****ing pessimistic.

Umpires have been utter ratshit. I'd be ropeable if I was a Hawker.
Amen.

Cost us 2 scoring opportunities (1 certain goal) and gave Geelong 1 goal.

The fact that we're still in the game is the difference between a club like Hawthorn and a club like Port Adelaide.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHH

Remember what Hawthorn did to Port Adelaide earlier this season?

hahah biggest anticlimax of 2008 is port making the grand final last year and looking hopeful for this season and doing f*** all.

If you think the umpiring is making a difference in this game you're kidding yourselves. I notice the goal you earnt through "abuse" to an umpire was left out, couldn't see that one out of your one eye I guess.

On your logic, the only reason you're in the game is that we're one man short, and have 4 All-Australian players out of the side, as well as another integral premiership player.

Either way, it's a good game with who's out there.
