They DON'T think we need a developing ruck.Exactly
Crows list management have been very aware that we need a developing ruck this whole time.
They just won't spend the money, draft capital or can't get deal/s done and it's not good enough. Forgivable if it only happened during one season/draft period, but it's been a need for a long time now.
**** me, that's obvious that's how they feel.
They want a lead ruckman, a minimum wage backup and a couple of break glass ruck forwards. A development ruck has been a VERY low priority.
You can say they're wrong (hell, I'd rather another tall than Smith) but history is littered with successful, premiership winning teams who have a traded in ruck.
They obviously have been looking to replace ROB, and have fixed other issues before doing that. They'll bring a ruck in the off season, it just seems obvious.
