Bizzell or Kelly?

The deal which brought the Biz to Melbourne resulted in the Cats picking up Kelly. At the moment, you would have to say Bizzell is the better and more influential player however Kelly may end up being just as good, this is a question for other supporters, who would you rather have on your team?

Right now it is arguable who is better but in the long term Kelly will be a better player than Bizzell is and ever will be.

Melbourne got what they needed at the time and have won up till this year BUT as time goes on Geelong will do better

there was also another deal done at the same time with Geelong which I think melbourne won hands down.

That's a good point.

In that case, Geelong definately came out ahead of that transaction. Melbourne would be very happy with Bizzel and what he has given them over the years though. Win-win.

This trade was pretty good for both clubs. Melbourne got a star defender at the expense of a couple of reasonable (not great) draft picks, whilst Geelong picked up two talented youngsters by giving up someone who was doing ******** all for them.

The better trade was Brent Grgic for Brad "13 marks" Miller.

without doubt geelong got the better deal. Kelly is a gun. Bizzell is average.

Bizzell is far from average. He’s hard at the ball and talented. He has served our backline extremely well. Actually watch him a few times...then you can make such a statement.
