Bizzell or Kelly?

bizzell is far from average.

kelly is a good young midfielder who will improove. could be a star but at the least a decent midfielder.

bizzell however is a superb rebounding defender who is very couragous and can take a strong mark. sometimes a bit loose and he aint no star but then agin what defenders are?

dees would choose bizzell, cats kelly, end of story with everyone happy

LOL

We seem to do alright how we are, since we have the premium CHB and premium FB in the league, Max and Goose will do just fine.

Is it any wonder that i hate saints supporters, in fact everything about the saints. This is THE most ridiculous comment I have read on BF. Congratulations Milnedog, you seem to be as big a tool as your namesake.

You didn't like my post?

BTW, St Kilda > Geelong. :)

based on the footywire comparison u can still tell that miller is better and also its recent form that really counts and miller has been outstanding, esepcially in his last 2 games.

25 marks in 2 games or somethin round that n around 40 possessions

You think winning a few games puts you above criticism?
Not at all, but generalisations are just boring to listen to, especially when they are rubbish. We're obviously doing something right to have won a "few" games.

If you had actually seen Bizzell play, you wouldn't be referring to him as 'average'. You may just be quite simple though. Let me help...this is a 'FOOTBALL' board. Bizzell plays 'FOOTBALL'

wow. another brain surgeon joins our ranks. welcome champ. :)

This is a case of one of those rare trades where everything worked and both teams are very happy with the outcome.

Melbourne got some much needed leadership in the backline.

Geelong got two young guns.

In the end Geelong will come out on top because Kelly and Playfair will be playing long after Bizzell has retired but the leadership and example Bizzell has shown towards our younger defenders has been priceless.

The Grgic/pick 55 which we used to get Miller was related but a seperate deal.

Classic case of hindsight having 20/20 vision. At the time Geelong were desperate to snare Kelly so they had to give Melbourne something they wanted - Clint Bizzell. I still believe to this day it's the one questionable recruiting move Thompson made, as we had plenty of dud players to unload before him. He played very good football for us on the wing and on a half back flank, before being moved forward out of sheer desperation. I remember him kicking 6 against a top Essendon team one night and 6 against Collingwood on another occasion. He's been tremendous to Melbourne, and Kelly is getting better all the time for us. A rare deal that has worked both ways. To say Bizzell isn't up to it is ludicrous. In my opinion a superb and consistent footballer.

It's threads like this that people's agenda's and hatreds become apparent.
